Just ordered it from GNC a few days back, just got delivered and took 2 tabs (400mg) of l-theanine and im drinkin caffeine which is suppose to stimulate the shit out of the pills. Anyone try this? It's found in green tea.

Opposite. L-theanine is supposed to neutralize the stimulation of caffeine. I take it when i have had too much coffee. Also use it as part of lucid dreaming protocol. Also good to take before meditation.

Never tried it, might as well give it a shot!

So much fail.

L-Theanine does not "multiply caffeine" what it does is that it calms down the "jittery" feeling caffeine often leaves you with.

Basically, all the awake AND focus.

Powerful combination.

For the cheapos - Drink coffee, and then some green tea.

Drink Matcha green tea. Contains an optimal amount of l-theanine, caffeine, and potent antioxidants.

Like emp mentioned above, l-theanine combined with caffeine gives you epic focus that can last up too 6 hours. Buddhist monks have been drinking it since it's inception so they can power through meditation sessions that last up too 24 hours. Also, as a cool side-note, Samurai Warriors were known to drink Matcha before entering battle :)

I sell my own brand of Matcha green tea. I have already converted quite a few IM'ers into using it to replace coffee and other work stimulants.

I get pure L-Theanine powder that I pack into capsules myself. Cheaper and no fillers.

If you're getting stressed out, take one or two of these, it helps.
 
Theanine is great. Combine it with B vitamins and 600mg of Alpha-GPC and you have a great focus cocktail. Combine it with 5-HTP or st johns wort and you have a great stress/mood stabilizer/mild depression cocktail
 
Sounds interesting for sure. Silly question maybe but, is the L-Theanine also able to to reduce the 'crashing' effect some people (like me) get later in the day after having caffeine?

I can feel good and get lots done with something like an energy drink, but about 8-10 hours later I get this really sleepy feeling and just want to take a nap, lol.

I'd like to know if L-Theanine or even Matcha as mentioned above would eliminate this.
 
Interesting timing for this. The company I buy my phenibut through offered me free l-theanine so I got 50 grams, waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I've heard consistently good shit about it. I'm also a big fan of alpha-GPC. I was taking it as a choline source while taking aniracetam and found alpha-GPC alone is fucking great.

Can't wait to try it out. BTW, the company I'm going through is liftmode, I highly recommend them, you get tons of free shit through them and they routinely discount stuff + you get pure product (comes with lab report).
 
I take L-Theanine it daily, as a part of my stack, for its mood related benefits.

For those reading this thread I would also recommend looking into Rhodiola rosea and Ashwagandha, two lesser known herbs that work great in this department (increase focus/energy, reduce stress, tranquility of mind). They work great along with L-Theanine.

Taking all three of these, + caffeine, + Uridine, and + CDP choline or Alpha GPC = dream-like productivity.

edit: and if you're not already taking at least one gram of DHA daily, you should be, regardless of your stack.

From what I read there what is the difference with L-Tyrosine then ? It gives the same, no ?
Using it with lot of other things in caffeine based fat burner (Which honestly gives you opposites as it max dose of all these L- amino, so be careful)
