Ok, I'm done with the back and forth. I posted a offer on a forum called "buy sell trade"; and all I've got back is a collection of recycled catchphrases that really contribute nothing other then to demonstrate the posters lack of ability to have a unique thought.

If you don't like my offer then don't post a reply as I really couldn't give a shit for what you think.

If you have some advice great, I will look at it and take it on board (if relevant).

Beyond that, if all wicked fire is about is a bunch of trolls flaming new members then post that in the stickies so we don't waste our time signing up here.

No, it's not what wickedfire is all about.

But when we see people come onto the forums and try to sell a domain they just picked up the other day (not to mention it is a .net with a hyphen) for $500-$1000 we tend to flame. Develop it then sell it here or take it to DP because it is a shitty domain. Damn domainers.

This is what every joke on this thread meant

If you sold that domain for around what its worth (reg fee) nobody would have flamed you and you might have even sold it. We only flame people who either don't know what they are talking about, or try to get away with things they shouldn't.

Thanks for the advice. Obviously I think the domain is worth more then most people here but I guess thats an experience issue.

Either way, I have started developing it already and hope to have it ready for the search engines in the next couple of days and given my past experiences in SEO I am confident I can get it into the top 10 organic search results for the keywords 'Landing Pages' and time will soon tell if I am full of shit.

In relation to the .net tld whilst I understand its not as successful in google as the .com version as I pointed out in my initial post those versions are being squatted on so in reality are no competition, hence the .net version with the hypen is the best chance going atm.

As for the sale cost, landing pages are around $30-$50 each in a educated market and around $150-$200 each in a uneducated market meaning the BE point would be between 4-20 jobs depending on the price so my estimated sale price isn't unreasonable (to me anyway).

Wait are you saying we have no experience?

Alright wtf are you talking about "no competition" you do realize you don't have to own "landingpages.com" or any variation of that to have a landing page design company/site right? Well since webdesign.com, webdesign.net, websitedesign.net, etc are being "squatted on" then that means "in reality" there is no competition for web design?

Last time I checked thats not how domains were valued?
(to me anyway)
Then how come you only paid $6.99 for it 3 days ago instead of $500-$1000 I'm sure godaddy would have been glad to take that instead.

Wait are you saying we have no experience?
No, I am saying we have difference experiences in different fields. Does that make any one of us smarter the then other? No.

I guess I'm not getting my point across. Everyone knows your domain name should be keyword rich, right? In this case, for the term we are targeting 'Landing Pages' nobody else with the same terms on a tld has developed a site for it yet so first mover advantage always wins in the SERP's. IE if developer A starts usedcars.net first and then a year later Developer B starts usedcars.com and both developer A has developer B have the similar backlinks, Developer A's site will rank higher the Developer B's.

Then how come you only paid $6.99 for it 3 days ago instead of $500-$1000 I'm sure godaddy would have been glad to take that instead.
Again, this is what it is worth to the purchaser. to me it was worth $6.99 but to someone looking to build a landing page site then it could be worth more.

Eitherway, I get it, nobody at WF will pay more then the registration price for a domain so I won't waste any more time posting domains or collaboration opportunities here.

btw: If you read the original post you would have also seen that I also suggested a collaboration effort with landing page designers so my intention was directly to fuck people over.

But like I said, I will develop the site, take quotes for landing pages and the on sell the work. If it fails, the everyone in this thread can feel justified that they are better then me... and in the case it succeeds well I guess that will speak volumes in itself for those who have flamed me in this thread.

Dude, Get a Life and think before you speak (you just regged that domain a day back).

Nobody at least on WF will pay you anything more than the reg fee for the .net domain with the an hyphen.

If you have plans to develop the domain, go ahead with it.

This is a joke. Sorry, but a domain with a hyphen in it really isn't brandable, and so for someone to warrant spending four figures on it there would have to be existing traffic, or a website that is generating revenue. What you are trying to do is swindle someone new to the industry that sees the domain and goes "YAY, THIS MUST BE A GOOD BUY."

If you had any "experience" you would know that seasoned affiliates, and even lowly lurkers of this forum who have never made a dime online, would see that a new domain, that's not brandable, and has no traffic, has no value.

Shut the fuck up you mofo

Talking about keyword richness, the following domains are available for registration:
landing-pages.us
landing-pages.ca
landing-pages.ws
landing-pages.cc
landing-pages.tv
landing-pages.bz
landing-pages.nu
landing-pages.cn
landing-pages.in

Anybody looking to develop a site in this niche will go for any of the above domains instead of wasting 1k on your bullshit domain thats pulled out of your ass. :thefinger:

From what you just said, you have no idea what you are doing.

You won't be able to rank this domain in the top 10 serps, maybe top 100 if you are lucky.

does Coca Cola know about this?

I'm new, I thought domain flipping meant you bought a domain and flipped it (for more money).

Anyways, since no one is interested in purchasing the domain I might as well develop it myself so I will respond to the hate when time permits.

Landing Pages

.tv is not so SHUT THE FUCK UP.
Also, region based domain never always mean that the site has to be promoted in the specific region only. For example, I can use plugged.in domain for some music related theme even if .in is Indian specific domain.
What do you have to say about del.icio.us or imageshack.us?

Seriously, get a life you cocksucking shithead assprone.
