LA's Earth Quake - My first earth quake.

Magnitude 5.0 - GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, CALIFORNIA

I live in south long beach so it wasn't as shock as in LA. Still i screwed up at my first earth quake. I was taking a nap after pulling all night fixing my LP's javascript, then it was just shaking as hell...:angryfire::angryfire: I woke up right when my bed started shaking. I forgot everything i did on the drill in high school and first thing i did was covering up whole body with blanket acting like nothing happen and waiting for it to stop...

We had 2x 4.6 magnitude earthquakes within a week or two here in melbourne australia.. and they are extremely rare. Didn't notice the first one cos I was at a club, second one my desk wobbled for about 5 seconds. Must have been very far from the epicenter cos it didn't feel bad in any way.

I was visiting friends in san hose back in 92. We were watching Free Willy in a movie theater <insert joke here> and there was a quake during the movie. Nothing big but everyone started leaving the movie all of the sudden (I mean the movie was bad but this was in the middle of the movie and mass exodus) My mom and I were clueless as we weren't used to it and just thought it was the special effects of the movie. "Woah great surround sound!!!"

My buddy was on his way to pick me up when it happened so he didn't notice it, being in the car and everything. He was pretty pissed. He didn't believe me at first but then as we drove down the street everyone was standing outside their homes.

I think there was another one 4 or 5 months ago in long beach. Don't know the detail cause i was in the car. Was it as big as this one?

Not at all. It may have been a tad bit longer but the one the other night nearly knocked me off my chair.

i think the chino hill one was the crazyiest since i live really close to it, shaked the whole house like it was a boat
