Hey guys,
I'm putting together a one-page website that is essentially a landing page for my services.
I sell website content to small businesses (with a strong USP/twist).
Here's what I'm wondering: Do any of you have experience with sending 100% of traffic to a lead-generation form (just collecting their name, email, and some info) instead of going for direct-response (sales.)
I'm trying to figure out what will be best in the long-run, I'm thinking lead-gen, and then I'll email them and close the sale... because only allowing sales will lead to higher-bounce rate with no chance for a sale in the future.
I know that it will come down to testing and conversion rate optimization on my own -- but I was just looking for some initial help/advice.
EDIT: I realize the third option is allowing both -- but in my situation that would be cumbersome.
