Lead theft from brokerage firm??? please help

I was recently propositioned to sell leads to movie sales, oil and gas, commodities brokers etc...

Basically I would be provided leads from a third party who i'm assuming stole them from a brokerage firm. These are high net worth individuals who are prequalified to invest in high risk investments.

Basically I would cold call random firms to sell them.

Is this legal, and what are the repercussion of me doing this. I'm trying to better my life not get locked up?
