I am SO glad I am not an affiliate for LeadFlash, because out of nowhere, I'm getting messages from affiliates asking where the hell their money is, from this company. Why are they being fed excuse after excuse?

This is the fourth time in the last 7 days! Are you guys trying to set some type of new record here?!!?!

So I try and reach out to my good friend at LeadFlash, only to find out that she has been FIRED not two hours earlier! She's been there for a really long time too, and out of nowhere, you guys aren't paying affiliates and firing key people in your company? Hmmm...

Are you guys purposely firing the people who work hard for you so you can save on some cash?

Are you guys downsizing?

Financial issues?

Just plain lazy?

Nothing personal of course, but you guys are becoming real assholes. I really hate getting in the middle of these things, but I won't sit back and let you guys screw WickedFire members who are affiliates of yours after telling them they will be paid, and then not doing it. And they are all Pay Per Click guys who don't violate anything, ever!

Maybe it's just me, but I think we need to keep an eye out on you guys and see if you fold soon or if there is a big announcement. Any feedback would be great too, and post it here this time, not privately, because I hate excuses and I'm still pissed from hearing that you guys fired Danielle.

Jerks!

Jon,

This is John Dalton from LeadFlash. The statement about us not paying affiliates is completely unfounded and untrue. If there are any affiliates here, or anywhere else for that matter, who haven't been paid by LeadFlash, please let me know. We have one of the best payment records around and I would encourage any of our affiliates to share that information here in response to that accusation.

As far as an employee that no longer works for us, I imagine that they would want that information to be private, unless of course this thread is soley based on a friendship between yourself and them. The fact that one employee no longer works with us is certainly no indication of problems at our company. In fact, we are actually hiring for that same position that just opened up.

If anyone else has any questions, please contact me directly at 561.499.3329, ext105. I would be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have on our employee policies and affiliate payouts.

No one's calling you. Why did you fire Danielle???

Since we already know she was fired and that's no longer confidential, what was the reason???

WTF is up with all the fucking Jo(h)n's in this industry!

Okay carry on.

wow I can't imagine anyone would want to take that job considering your company's track record for hiring and firing.

Maxbucks,

Our team is actively contacting all of her affiliates. I hope that we can continue to provide you with exceptional service.

As for having to let an employee go, it certainly isn't something that we like ot do so I would appreciate it if the admins and contributors here understand. There isn't any relation between an employee moving onto something else and the company's ability to operate normally. As many of you know, we are entering the prime season for our primary offers. We will continue to provide a great program for our affiliates and, as usual, pay more quickly than 99% of the others out there. I still invite any affiliate who hasn't been paid (and on time) to post here. Based on the original comments posted here, their should be posters responding with the same comments as sent to Jon. Unless of course, this thread is just a feeble attempt at a smear job........

??

I'm sorry this couldn't have been taken care of offline?

If someone was let go from a company it shouldn't be public information.
If someone has a payment issue it shouldn't be public information (unless its rampant)

Someone being let go from a company does not show that the company is in trouble. Since my contact just got back from Ad:Tech London I would imagine their finances are in order.

Hopefully this can be quashed without further mudslinging.

Danielle-

I'm really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really SORRY for putting your name into this when it had NOTHING to do with any of this.

I would have rathered my personal business was not public knowledge although it is certainly too late for that. This is Danielle, it is true I am no longer at LeadFlash, but I certainly doubt their business practices have changed overnight. I can only state that I am not aware of any such payment issues and would continue to refer affiliates in the sub-prime space over to them with confidence. The team works very hard to make sure affiliates are paid on time and some even early when possible.

My departure has nothing to do with the company's growth, believe me they are expanding and looking to build out their business. As cliche as it may seem, "All good things come to an end." We parted ways on very good terms and I am very greatful for the time I spent there and the people I learned so much from. I have all faith that the awesome team I helped build is more than capable of servicing all of my accounts as well as all other clients of LeadFlash. Jon Dalton or any other members of the team will be more than happy to resolve any issues or answer any questions. The accounting team is very responsive and the affiliate team strives to make sure their affiliates come first.

WTF is up with all the fucking Jo(h)n's in this industry!

Okay carry on.

Not sure. I mean Jon/John is such a RARE name and all... lol

The popular names you'll find everywhere are: Jon/John, Mike, Chris, Jason and maybe Muhammed.

  • There are 4,974,183 people in the U.S. with the first name John.
  • Statistically the 2nd most popular first name.

So this entire, pointless, thread was based on unfounded facts, accusations, heresay and jumping to conclusions? Talk about making mountains out of mole hills, Jon.

You're a fucking idiot that doesn't seem to know how to read, so I'll just ignore your post along with the other ever so informative ones you've written over the last few months of your membership here.

It's usually a good idea to read posts first before coming up with an answer you think is a witty or clever response, this way you don't sound like such a cocksucker. Take my advice or not, either way, it's your rep, not mine dickbag.

I want to make a post here just to clear things up...

1- I should not have taken Danielle's private life and matters and put it out in the open, especially without her permission. I should have asked her about it first, and then made a decision. So I truly am sorry for that, and I think she knows it.

2- Three of the four affiliates responded saying that they were compensated almost immediately. It appears that my original post did what it was intended to do, and they took care of business rather quickly and quietly, which I respect and give kudos to LeadFlash for.

3- After reviewing some of the last affiliate's statements, he appeared to have held back some key information, and I won't be sticking up for him, nor is he a member on this forum anymore. Liars do not deserve any sympathy or second chances in my book, so he's on his own, and I doubt he will be getting paid. He was apparently bidding on Trademark terms and also misleading users with his ads, so with those two strong points, it serves him right to not be paid. He was apparently kicked from the LeadFlash program over a month ago anyway, so screw him. Lesson to be learned.

4- I was NOT making this thread/post as a bullshit or smear against LeadFlash. I may have acted too quickly and not followed my own advice of clearing up things through back channels before airing it out on a public forum, so I apologize to you guys at LeadFlash for that. Sorry if it brought a harsh/negative tone to you guys. I was also upset over hearing about Danielle randomly being let go, as I considered her the face of LeadFlash at conferences and networking events, but like someone pointed out, it's not my place to make judgements on other people's businesses. It was a private matter and something made within the LeadFlash company, so as pissed off or disappointed as I may have been, it was wrong of me to label the whole company as bad and I DEFINITELY should have calmed down first. Next time I'll re-evaluate my posts about a company or person and let my temper cool down first.

5- I have other friends at LeadFlash that I like a lot, such as Chipmunk/Munk (nicknames from way back), and Caroline (biz dev). I have a lot of respect for both of them, and never meant to cause any harm or bad drama with them or for them within their company.

6- John Dalton - I never met you (I don't think) nor have we ever spoken before, and I was NOT trying to single you out or your company. I was acting on facts and proof and not such great judgement at the time of my original post, so I would like to apologize for calling you guys assholes. I only apolgoize when I know I was at fault, whether or not I want to admit to it or not. It's also a rarity, so you should know it's genuine. But I do have to say that if something like this should ever happen again, it would be wise for you to let your employees read it first for themselves, instead of trying to pass some propoganda bullshit their way and make it sound worse than what it is. I just call it the way I see it, and this time it was one of the more harsh and blunt types, but I never came up with this based on what you guys decided to do with my friend Danielle, and she had nothing to do with any of this being posted. It was just my way of trying to stick up for a friend that I thought caught the shit end of the stick and it just added fuel to a fire that had been burning long before she left.

7- I'm not sorry for sticking up for Danielle. Even though she made me realize it's something she didn't want to be apart of, I can't help myself sometimes. When I see friends being hurt, I am usually the first one on scene to help them out and do whatever I can to make them feel better. This may or may not have had the effect she wanted, but it happened already, and we can't take it back. If anything, this whole drama thread should show that I value my friendship with her and I think she is a damn good business woman, and I know she will become an all-star in the industry someday soon, with or without my help, but I won't leave a friend hanging, and because of her, that's the ONLY reason why I was willing to re-evaluate my original post and come back here and apologize and explain myself. If not for her, I would have just waited until it was settled, added LeadFlash to the shit list, and moved on. But now I see that LeadFlash fixed the issue, and my friend is off doing her thing, the honest affiliates are happy because they have their money, and the last affiliate is going to have to find a new career if he thinks any network will work with him now.

The end. This thread will be closed shortly.

Ah, so LeadFlash is not a jerk (just taken holiday and seeing how this thread going) :)

Good luck for LeadFlash and Danielle in the future.
