Hello everyone.

Before I continue I'd like to point out that I am not new to affiliate marketing, and my income currently sits at just over $3,500 profit per month promoting a single niche.

I am looking for someone to become a partner in an online business I am startnig with another individual. The person who agrees to become a partner will receive 33% of the company.

This company will NOT be incorporated, but will instead be a limited partnership. The individual will be required to sign all legal contracts, etc. etc.

Now that we're past the legal stuff...

I will not reveal the company name/web address as it will compromise the niche market we are targeting. However, I can give the following specifics:
  • The site is charging a $5-$10 per month membership fee (pricing has not yet been set). We are offering a very standard but high value product.
  • It is a private members community.
The website will be utilizing a very extensive marketing campaign to draw new or prospective members. The marketing campaign will dwarf my current efforts in both sheer volume and complexity. It will convert like mad.

We are looking for...
We need someone who is established and experienced as an affiliate marketer. Though I have experience in affiliate marketing I would much rather take a backseat roll for the marketing. I will handle the site's constantly changing content, members, maintainance, etc. The other partner handles all technical aspects of the website.

The affiliate marketer who signs on will be given whatever they need to convert traffic- after all, they will own 33% of the company. If you need a landing page template, we can make one. If you need content, we will provide it. However, we also expect you to do the same.

In essense, do not come and offer yourself if you are not ready to be 100% committed to the success of the company.

You will NOT be required to pay anything. However, you WILL be required to prove yourself. If you are interested we will specify how this will be done.

The website will be launched the second week of February (roughly one month). We want the marketing to be full one from the moment the site goes live.

This will not be a 6 month niche- we anticipate the lifetime of this website to exceed 4 years, and develop a massive profitability.

It should be the goal of the affiliate marketer to drive at least 5,000 members to the website within one year. If you do not feel that you could accomplish this, DO NOT apply. If the affiliate marketing accomplishes this, they will be given their 33% of the monthly membership profits plus a one time bonus of $10,000.

We are dead serious about this project.

If you are interested, please contact me via PM. I will provide better contact information only to those that we are considering.

I am looking forward to meeting my future partner, whoever he/she/it may be.

Does the marketer get 1/3 of the business should it be sold?

Why would I trust you to create content and do teh tech stuff when I can hire people at much less than 2/3 of my profit?

The marketer becomes a partner in the business, so of course they would receive 33% of the sale value.

And you aren't just trusting me to create content, you're creating your own content as well.

There will be NO OTHER AFFILIATES for this website. My partner and myself, along with whoever comes into the company, will receive equal profit on each sale.

You are more than welcome to create your own content/site and NOT join our company, that is the beauty of affiliate marketing. However, this is a change from what is currently on the internet and it is the first of its kind. The business model is actually quite a read.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

If anyone is dumb enough to join your company for 33% your company wont be worth anything. I HATE this kinda proposal.
If your looking to partner with people, talk to them on the board and feel them out then see if they want a part. dont make a post that screams:
We make $50 bucks per day each!!! want to join us and we can all make 30? If your looking for a partner you need to establish yourself as not a douche bag and not someone looking to find a talented marketer to take your 50 a day website up to 60 dollars per day.
And your first post... lame.

There's a lot of un-needed hostility there.

The reason why I posted on this forum was because I know there are people here that are capable of achieving what we are looking for.

It's not a question of "joining us". We aren't trying to sell anything to the marketer that joins, and the website isn't even live. This is an instance where the person joining our company doesn't need to risk or invest anything other than their time and effort.

I am not sure if you are aware of how a business is run, but in this situation, we are looking for a marketer with more experience than my partner or myself.

Maybe I'll explain it a bit better as I don't think you've gotten what we're looking for...

We are offering a 33% stake in the company because we feel it would be the fairest way to compensate whoever joins. It would be just as easy for us to offer a commission on each membership sold and become an affiliate publisher ourselves, but we don't want to get into that.

Since the company is already making affiliated sales and revenue through other streams the marketer will also receieve their fair share of that as well. Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm not quite understanding what your problem is here.

I was completely unaware that I was considered a douchebag until proven otherwise. I really hope that the vast majority of the other users on this website don't share your limited and ultimately self-destructive attitude.

you give me 51% of the company and $10k up front and I will have you 15k people in 1 year min. I can sell matches in hell so there is no thing for you to worry about!

its easy to sell matches in hell, you can sell the normal cheap ones as self lighting with a markup.

the reason you were unaware is because you didnt read the damn forum before you posted. Now prove yourself not a douche.

LOL.

Alright, so it's pretty clear to me that this won't be taken seriously so I'm going to look elsewhere.

I did read the forum, and a lot of the posts were very constructive.

And how do I go about proving myself "not a douche"?

well by participating in the asinine and dumb discussions that entertain us and build a rep as something other than a 1 post spammer.

get a few people who sound interesting on instant messenger and talk to them about it mabye? or build up some reputation on the forum like lingle said.
