pretty good book on understanding how to create personal change or even help others create personal change by using clearly illustrated patterns.

Probably one of my favorite books on NLP and I've read a lot of them.

I definitely need to find this. No stores in my city have it. :(

A really book that I just finished reading was Forrest Gump. It was surprisingly a LOT different than the movie. It was 100 times better than the movie as well. It's definitely a good read, and I highly recommend it.

I'll warn you though, once you read the book; you'll be upset that you ever watched the movie. The movie just didn't do it any justice whatsoever.

Is Jenny still a whore who dies of AIDS? If so, I won't read the book.

What book isn't 1000 times better than the movie ? Or to put it this way, what movie is better than the actual book ?
It's impossible to completely transform a book which has taken the author perhaps years of his life to write, in his own particular way, into a 90 minute movie and have the pretension that it will stay "on track", even without the added subjectivity of the director.

Surely you're joking

Cool - I have this one waiting on my shelf, looking forward to reading it.

These were very good and what got me to grab his book, he also has a documentary on himself and his ideas that was very well worth the watch.

Currently reading 'Purple Cow' by Seth Godin. Good reading so far.

Most influential books for me were all the ones I read from Carl Sagan(roughly 80% of them). If I had to pick one it would be this one The Demon-Haunted World.
