Animals are just animals, but people are better than that. Abusing a person is much worse, IMO.
Most of us eat meat. We know objectively that these animals are kept in horribly inhumane conditions -- inHUMANE. They're not humans, they are ours to use and abuse as we like. Think about that for a bit, then think about your pet kitty cat or puppy. They're on the same level as chickens and cows.
It's called deviance. Lots of people are deviants. Homosexuals are deviants, technically even though it occurs in nature, as are people who are into watersports -- and I don't mean waterskiing or swimming in large bodies of water.
Pedophiles obviously are deviants, and they take advantage of their power over the young and their inexperience or inability to speak out at all.
I can't understand why someone would want to fuck a child, or a goat, or take a dump on someone's chest. But really, the only real crime there is abusing the child. The only people who care about the goat are PETA and dumbasses who anthropromorphise animals. The person getting shit on is a consenting adult. The child is a human being and will be tortured by that abuse all of their life. I've known people who were abused like that as children and they're always twisted in some way because of it.
I guess more intelligent animals like apes and dolphins shouldn't be tortured because they're closer to people, but they don't have sex hangups like we do, so I don't give a shit if anyone fucks them or gets fucked by them. That's their thing, doesn't affect me. Dolphins are horny motherfuckers from what I read, and apes eat their own young sometimes, so...

I'm not really talking about disgust. Something may be disgusting but that doesn't make it wrong. (e.g.My mom drinks Barley Green every morning which is pretty disgusting but infact she believes it right for her body)
That being said, I'm not about to defend why child porn is wrong because to do so would give premise to the notion that it was debatable in the first place.
