I’m looking for networks that have offers around desktop software im not looking for adware based software, im looking for clean installs from trusted brands that pay per download the only one ive found so far is oovoo.

Respectable software that pays per download won't be easy to find. Pay per download is almost exclusively to the software being adware, or being bundled with various toolbars and adware. Actually respectable software almost always pays by sale and not by download.

The reason for this, is if the merchant makes their money off of sales and not adware, then paying per download isn't a good idea for them. Depending on the origin traffic and content on the page the file was downloaded from, it can impact their backend sale conversion rate by factors of over 100.

If you're interested in offers that pay per sale, feel free to PM me

Yea i understand this im really still looking for offers that are pay per download i was hoping someone might have emails to affiliate mangers of the likes of real networks pctools and so forth i know opencandy has a wide rage of good software thats pay per install but i would need to promote my own software within it. So i thought if open candy can get these offers the companys that they promote have to have some form of affiliate manger finding them is really hard this is really my last resort.

The most popular desktop software doesn't seem to have affiliate programs - but there's lots of other software you can offer as an affiliate.
For example, check out specifica niches such as accounting software on cj.com
Or start looking for very specific niches. I've managed to find quite a few - sorry not going to tell you what I've found works, you'll have to figure that out for yourself!

watch out, there is a catch here, ooVoo does not pay you per install, they pay you per activation as much as I know, there are networks out there like pinball, amonetize, w3i etc. that can integrate clean software installations with your software, and usually they can provide you with better deals then any single software vendor
