I have a local manufacturer for hand blown glass smoking pipes in the US (no shipping cheap Chinese products over seas).

We have a marketing plan ready, a store front website ready to be released, and a potential 600% profit on all sales.

Products will be sold local and online.
Investment doesn't need to be anymore than $3k.

PM me if your interested and we can have a chat.

What the customers do with the products is up to them, but there sold as tobacco pipes. :-)
They make 25k/month, because there local we can go and hand choose what we want in our inventory.
We also have a supplier for Hookahs.

I would prefer a loan investor. Invest 3k for inventory, hosting, and marketing, then we pay back the loan with interest over time. Though if the investor has talent in anything that could help the business grow, then the said investor could be a partner and gain a percentage of sales on a regular basis.

If your supplier is capable, you ought to look into making tap handles as an alternate product line:

Those are awesome!

howdoyou, I'm going to be setting up a similar site for a local glass blowing individual. My main concern is the legality of everything, particularly shipping "tobacco accessories" out of state.

Sadly, I don't have $3,000 to invest, but would still like to talk with you.
Mind chatting via PM?

Those tap handles are bad ass, I'm going to forward this to my manufacturer.

@pfgannon
Sure we can chat, send me a PM. I'm currently pursuing my bachelors in business management, business law, and business financing. The laws aren't that harsh in the US for tobacco products. I live in Kentucky so having tobacco products coming in and out will not raise red any flags anyway.

I'm still looking for a small investor.
We will have an affiliate network along with a dropshipping program.

I was told by a professional glass blower who did pipes previously can have you blacklisted in the market per-say. I would read into that. He also told me, glass dildo's sell better than anything. Not a lie.

Here is an example:

As a potential investor, as much as you have a really cool product and a business with great potential, the risk to reward is too high.

For me you would need to be offering an equity stake and not just a bond.

I can put my money in a dividend paying stock and get 9% return and it is lower risk and fully liquid (I can get my money back almost instantly).

For your deal, even if you were offering 20%, there is high risk that I won't get my investment back (even if you have 100% integrity, the biz might not go well... a lot of variables) and then there is very uncertain liquidity... unknown "when" I might get my money back.

For this to be a deal that I would consider, it would need to be either:

  1. Secured - we would need to write up a contract guaranteed against a liquidate-able asset equal to the value of the loan.
  2. Higher Reward - an equity stake in the company so that three is a MUCH higher potential payout if things go well.
These are the kind of things that a professional investor will look for in a deal like this, otherwise... that's why god invented credit cards and family ;)

jelf, pm sent.
johnny99, if the business doesn't go over well the products are the assets that can be liquidated. The large sum of inventory could be sold in a very short period of time and still turn a profit.
We would write up a contract.
