I've done a fair amount of research (and continue to do so) about creating a website for a martial arts school. I've taken a look at some successful examples, and notice a trend in terms of how they choose to market themselves.

My question is, if I wanted to find a very good service for building professional looking websites (mainly to convert as much as possible), who/where should I start looking?

hire a web designer/developer

First thing you need to do is determine the budget you have allocated for this. Then if you have "content" for the different pages. If you don't, content will cost you extra. Gather that together if you do. Gather all images and video together as well that the designers will need. Also make sure to gather any corporate branding - logo, that you have.

Then start by asking well respected members of the community and Googling for web designers in your price range. Don't let location restrict you. Look at the portfolios of the designers that you aggregated together abd select the one that will complete the projected in the timeframe.

Stay away from people with no timeframes, business sense (No invoice for example), and that treat web design as a hobby or part time job.

If you want something that converts into sales, just remember you get what you pay for.

Before starting the things we must concentrate is......
