This feels a little spammy, but it cannot be any worse than all that football spam :hi:

I'm looking to hire an experienced media buyer or ppc campaign manager. It's a full time position and you'll be required to re-locate to Nassau, Bahamas.

The base pay is generous and then there is a very aggressive bonus structure on top of that.

Here's a link to the full job description on LinkedIn:

Director, Online Marketing at Online Advertising Agency (Nassau, Bahamas) in Nassau, Bahamas - Job | LinkedIn

If anyone refers me someone who I end up hiring, I'll send you a $10,000 referral fee.

if you can get me citizenship im in

Could you submit your CV through LinkedIn?

I'm currently working with an attorney to see what options there are for citizenship etc, I'll have more answers on that in a few days.

Citizenship and being allowed to live there are two different things, they can be pretty finicky about who they give citizenship to.

Looks like a pretty brutal position with a shit-ton of responsibility. GL to whomever takes this on.

No, get me out of this shit hole first, then we'll talk. :xmas-smiley-022:

Why's that? (serious, want feedback)

My initial thoughts, and could definitely be wrong, but in short given all of the qualifications you're listing, my first question to anyone who applied would be...

"If you can do everything I've outlined, why are you looking for a job?"

Because lead generation, media buys, product development, etc etc - most people who have those skills, I'd *guess*, learned them from running their own stuff.

And if they're good, the only way you're tearing them away from doing their own thing is giving them an established resource to tap into that they can leverage and bank more $$$ using your existing data, customer base, lists, marketing budget etc.

I'm not saying an employee with experience doing this for companies doesn't exist. But you list no base salary, no examples of how much the bonus incentives can potentially payout and things like that.

So, that'd bring me back to wondering why anyone who applies has time to throw CV's into job openings with no specific income details. Again, if they're who you're looking for they probably don't have time to bother unless you're putting the incentive to do so right upfront.

On top of that, relocating to the Bahama's (a degree + 10 years marketing experience + relocating to the Bahama's, the age group implied here IMO has family and probably no interest in relocation).

Not saying it can't be done, and this is probably a good place to look. I do think it'd be difficult to find who you're looking for.

Again, for me it'd go back to...

"If you can do everything I've outlined here, and have a proven track-record, is the best ROI on your time really applying for jobs on LinkedIn when you don't even know the details of compensation or the market you'll be working in?"

Just some thoughts.

I think it'll be tough. Not impossible.

Good luck.

same issue with people trying to find some amazing SEO person

I'm just curious what Niche this is in, It would be hard as hell and take a team to spend 500k on Google, Yahoo! and adblade cloaking, so I wouldn't think its Pharma or Gambling.

Forex maybe?

I think it's travel/vacation, but I may be wrong. Spent a few min looking up OPs name.

I'm thinking whoever is really good at it isn't interested in answering to a boss, I could be wrong though.

same, this is just like markus looking for an SEO guy.

When i read the job description all i hear is

"We are looking for a badass PPC guy who is able to generate $x,xxx worth of leads every day by himself, the only catch is that we want you to work for us, make us all the money, and we'll pay you a salary, plus a gimmicky bonus!"

not hating, just sayin

This sounds like a good job position guys. Don't hate.

Not everyone wants to work on their own. Some people (especially those with a family) want security and a stable income.

7 years ago I got offered a similar job (although more technical and less managerial) in Bermuda for 75k (tax-free) which I declined, but they had NO problem finding somebody else! Lots of people in Canada and the U.S. want to move to a Caribbean destination while earning a high and tax-free income.

OP probably got a lot of PMs already and it's good thing he's posting on WickedFire. Smart move. While other IT/Marketing recruiters are wasting their time/money posting on Monster. lol
