So I've been looking for a new apartment in sunny smoky smoggy L.A. And I keep running into these types of "listings." Just your classic AdSense arbi pages. I can't believe this works, but I've been looking off and on for months and they must be making money because they keep on posting...

Amazing rentals now.

for the lazy - the ad leads to this page

Rentals

Some one get out there and let me know if this works and do what WF'ers do best, successfully kill another way of making money online.

I know of someone who was making about $900 a day doing something like that on craigslist!

This is a poor excuse for a one page Adsense run like what ISPs do with site parking. In this case, probably a free template, a bs email address, change the email registration for the ad daily et voila... .

Oh you want an apartment in LA? sublease mine I'm trying to find someone to take over my room PM if you're interested at all

Yeah I wasn't saying it was genius or anything. The dating page on CL looks completely like this. Just thought I'd share some real-world arbi pages that weren't automated or feed driven. It's probably some guy three worlds away making $100 a month of these sites and laughing all the way to the mattress he stuffs it under.

Are you kidding? To anyone not doing AM (which is most everyone) the people will click on those adsense before thinking twice. So who cares if we think it's cheez, they probably are doing just swell.

anyways, I said there were better ways to go about.
Im 500% sure they're making money...

I got introduced to AM by posting my balls off on CL...

I hated that shit, Im happy I found this easier ;)

I saw this the other night and was going to post something about it, but I was too lazy to. It pissed me off because the picture of the place was fuckin nice and it was only 700 a month. Assholes!

Imagine how many dumbfucks click on the ads though. If you change the shit every day, you can make some money.

I thought about this a while back and have been wanting to try it, but never really got around it. Also yeah, there are much better ways to promote this type of stuff besides that site above and not complicated at all. There are a some renters places online that will give you a $100 for a referral, I think rent.com is one of them, or monetizing with a roommate finder website which you get paid for every sign up. You can earn much more with some affiliate monetizing rather than adsense I would think.

I was doing that about a year ago, I had the entire process automated, from scraping kijiji for apartment ads, to posting the scraped ads on my apartment sites, to posting my ads on craigslist. I had it set up over like 20 different websites using a bunch of different adsense accounts and actually got away with it for about 6 months. In those 6 months I probably made around $50k before Google cought on and the ban hammer came down.

nice looking page.

Google is too strict about this kinda stuff lately, so this wouldn't work now. You'll get your adsense banned before you ake any serious $$
But with a parking page you should have no problems ;)

CL is playing with fire, get banned. Most domain park places can trace referrals and can remove your earnings if they find out where traffic is coming from. Unless you work out a deal with domain parking site owners...

Thats a big part of the reason why I stepped away from CL.

I didn't think at the time (most probably don't) that I was a big fish (for craigslist, nor my advertisers) with what I was doing.
