LOST Finally coming back!

The writer's strike hurts! Argh! After JJ Abrams made such a big deal of redesigning the show so it DIDN'T have rerun episodes or gaps, BAM - strike-forced gap.

Darnit.

Anyways, yeah, I caught up and re-watched all the previous 3 seasons on DVD over winter (I had lots of spare time). Stoked for its return. I'm not keeping my fingers crossed that we're going to get too many answers. I think Abrams just likes fucking with people.

It's not long before shows like Lost are released worldwide online (with integrated ads) at the same time as they air. (They might eventually figure out that it's beneficial to release ad supported copies to the file sharing networks as well... but give it a few years.)

I'd love to have more Lost too, but is that really more important than the guys that write the fucking thing getting half-decent compensation for this (apparently, to the studios) new media?

Fuck the writers!! What the fuck are they writing that is so original? Everything is a fucking reality show and every fucking movie that comes out is either a remake of an old movie, a sequel to an old movie or a made for big screen comic book or a sequel to a made for big screen comic book. "I'm on strike because I want residuals for being unoriginal". They're probably just using a Markov chain and old scripts from "Land of the Lost" to write the scripts for the new Lost season episodes - keep an eye out for Sleestaks!

Half those fucking writers are probably right here lurking on Wickedfire to figure out how to make pocket change. Re: Datapresser.com sells out in < 30 minutes! - No shit, who the fuck has original thoughts anymore?

Seocracy - now there's a script writer. I'll have another beer and answer my own sig.

If you think they write shit... well I agree, 90% of the US stuff that makes it to us across the pond is complete crap and I'm guessing that's the most saleable stuff. But they are going to continue to pump this crap out anyway, why should the network shareholders get a bigger slice of the pie than the crap-creators?

time to do a simple survey on "Who died in the last season of Lost" and have the thank you page redirect to a zip offer.

Or if you're a hardcore fan, do a string of polls each week, and have each go to a different zip/email submit each time.

Or go do a facebook app and make your own $1m/week...

You can call it the "Get Lost!" app (which is what they call the promo campaign on local TV here...)

In any case, if you bank, buy me a nice sundae at ASW.

It's driving me nuts not knowing who died in the last ep in the "flash forward"

As fuckin usual, more questions than answers! Argh... I fuckin hate it! But still can't wait for the next episode! (About the only programme I can be bothered to follow)
