Can you guys recommend a good merchant to handle normal PPS products? I know there are probably a ton, but I am unfamiliar with this market right now. Thanks.

Nothing internet based is ever low risk really, is it? There are just so many aholes out there who will contest a charge because the product wasnt delivered in a pretty package. Then you get the guy who orders something for himself, the wife finds out, screams at him, and he claims he never ordered it...

Unless it's in-person sales, banks won't consider it low risk.
Maybe you can convince them to change your status over after a year or two of a record of a very low charge-back rate, but without that record, you're SOL.

Thanks, let me rephrase that since I got so much helpful feedback. Can anyone suggest a good merchant for a PPS product? I guess I used the term low risk since most posts here have been for merchants that support recurring billing and are generally a higher risk and way more chargebacks then what I am looking for.

Low Risk Merchant Accounts are like Having Sex with your pants on, if you play you gotta pay ---If the card ain't present then it's dangerous...be careful

high risk, low risk, credit card alternatives! message me for details
Fuck off with your spam, thanks.

For normal risk online processing, I'd recommend Merchant Account Provider - Accept Credit Card Payments Today With CDG Commerce! . They do a lot of processing for web hosting companies, which is higher risk than normal product sales, and they seem to have a number of good fraud fighting features now. Their gateway has authorize.net emulation, so it works seamlessly with many off the shelf shopping carts that have support for authorize.net.

If your looking for "low-Risk" go to your local bank tell them you are doing online sales and they can get it set up for you they will probably send you through authorize.net or network merchants eventually anyway.

Or you can try and find a local ISO that can usually hook you up pretty easily just depends on what you are looking for but like everyone here is saying go big or go home if your selling anything online it is considered a MOTO transaction which downgrades it making it a "higher" risk so just nut up and pay the higher fees

or try one of these guys
