Are all Brazilians badasses?

yes.

Because he wants to get a higher percentage of the money made and have some production rights. Dana White won't give up a thing and also UFC doesn't really have a huge name right now to go up against him and build it up. I think if Lesnar wins his next fight you could see Fedor coming to the UFC soon. Fedor also has never really fought in an octogan and has always fought in a ring which those who switch over such as CroCop, Shogun, etc havent faired well.

Also UFC contracts are very restrictive. Unless they make a special provision for Fedor (which they don't seem willing to do), signing a UFC contract would mean Fedor would be unable to compete in Sambo Tournaments, which is a deal breaker for him.

boring as hell fight i'm glad it ended exciting.

Say what? Most of the title fights start out with the feeling out process. It's 5 rounds so there is plenty of time.
There is a reason those guys are/were undefeated. There is a reason that Drew McFredries has 8 wins and 5 losses. If you brawl you'll get caught sooner and later and you will go to sleep.

Sometimes a W is more important than acting like a clown just for the (casual) MMA fans.

Deli - I like Griffin (spent lots of time in his hometown of Athens, GA), and I believe he's a hell of a scrapper, a good fighter, and an all-around good guy.

But unlike your suggestion, I did not "find Lyoto" yesterday, I've watched plenty of his former fights and have been waiting for him to rise to the top. I was and remain a fan..

No doubt, he will be overtaken, as all champs eventually are.. but I'll enjoy watching him fight regardless.

If you could not appreciate the chess match that took place in the first round, you should watch some MTV videos with more action-per-second, maybe it's more your speed? haha

No response on the PM?

I've been saying for a long time he is the real deal. People who call him a boring fighter should go watch WWE if they want to see more theatrics. Rampage is a similar boxer/counterpuncher/wrestler and Machida will pick him apart the same way, especially since Rampage doesn't kick.

This in my opinion was by far the best fight I have seen Lyoto Machida in. I'm not the biggest fan of him, but you just can't argue with his technique and skill. The guy is an animal.

Brock Lesnar is a joke, I hate him. However with all the publicity he has came up on, it has defiantly given him access and tools that he could use to potentially become a devastation heavy weight. Frank Mir is my favorite heavyweight so don't get me wrong, but for the first minute of there first bout he was getting his ass whopped. A silly mistake on Lesnars part shined light on frank mirs face for that fight. Lesnar just walked through Courtour too...

I would like to see Anderson Silva make his weight up the LHW ladder soon though...

Sorry if I get carried away I'm a huge MMA buff, I even do it on my spare time too ;)
