I'm sure vista has RDP too. It should be standard.
BTW, I've been messing with AutoHotKey and from what I can tell, it's everything you need. It records your mouse movements and keystrokes and compiles into an exe.
And it's free.
I tried it out and when I try to compile to exe I keep getting a "error in opening destination file", I tried several times. Then, I tried to open the file directly get some kind of "error: requires atleast one of it's window parameters" program will exit. The window that the macro start on (excel) is open so, I'm not sure what the problem is.
Are you running this on Vista? Maybe it isn't compatible with Vista. Do you have an XP disk you can run on Microsoft Virtual PC so you can develop this on XP? Anyone with a Dell would have an OEM CD you could use.
Yeah, I'm on vista. I can try another computer with xp. Probably won't have time until this weekend.
Thanks for your help with all this, I think software you suggested might work, it seems simple to record/run macros, all I need to do is compile to exe and run at a work computer.
