Mad Max

Calm down, you nerds.

Just play Fallout 3 or RAGE until then - it's pretty much the movie.

Movie looks really sick.

I hate the modern film industry passionately, probably as much as I hate the people who consume it with fervor, you know, the ones that get stoked to watch it, and even more stoked to finish it and tell all their friends how awesome it was. Looks like every other action film these days tbh, it's like there's a template you have to follow to even have a film greenlit and marketed. When it comes down to it, 99% of it is trash, you'd be better off reading a good book.

"I hate everything, I hate everyone, everything is trash, and I refuse to be entertained!"

To someone like me, a screenwriter, who's seen the film industry change from a creative medium to an industry with no balls is really frustrating.

They're pretty much working off of a checklist these days which is why every movie seems the same as the one that came out the week before.

How does this not bother you?

This looks like every other movie?

Could you make a few examples - because most action movies today are fagtastic and look nothing like this, I'd like to see more.

If you were just talking shit - go play in the traffic for getting my hopes up.

It's always risky when they do a remake. Honestly, I've been disappointed with most of the remakes that Hollywood has shit out in the last decade or so.

Judge Dredd was probably my biggest one in recent memory. A lot of people seemed to like the remake, but I thought it was a mediocre future cop story that was dumbed down to appeal to the masses. I loved the original 90's one with Stallone. It was a bit cheesy at parts, but it seemed much closer to the comics than the new one.

WickedFire never ceases to amaze me. Seriously WTF!

mad max, waterworld (not everyone like it but i just love the concept), moon and such apocalyptic/survival/even space movies are awesome, anybody knows some good less known movies like that? I bet that Ive seen all good ones

I think every Aussie male of my generation wanted the "last of the V8 interceptors" that Max Rockatansky drove.

Off topic but I used to work with this redneck that stuck a FE 428 (Cobra Jet precursor, which was later used in police vehicles bring it all back to semi relevancy) in an early 80's era shortbed 1 ton truck. Would break it loose sideways on dry pavement at 50 mph shifting from 3rd to 4th. That is all.
