Mahzkrieg's Keyword Combiner

I wrote this simple script a few months ago since I didn't want to use hosted scripts, and I decided to pass it on to anyone else that could find some utility in it.

Basically, you can insert various keywords in each column and the script will output every possible combination. You can also have the script output with the appropriate punctuation for phrase matches, exact matches, and negative terms.

I know it's nothing sensational and there are a couple identical tools out there, but I've included the source code so you can host it yourself so you don't need to utilize hosted and trivial scripts.

First 2 columns are required. Last 2 are optional.

Here's a quick sample input/output:

INPUT
Code:
Column 1: Column 2: Column 3: Column 4:
Saggy Ceasin' Gobbler-Chinned Shoemoney
Wrinkly Desistin' Check-Photoshoppin' Schoemaker
And then let's say you check the boxes for "Phrase Match" and [Exact Match].

OUTPUT
Code:
[SIZE=2]"Saggy Ceasin' Gobbler-Chinned Shoemoney"
"Saggy Ceasin' Gobbler-Chinned Schoemaker"
"Saggy Ceasin' Check-Photoshoppin' Shoemoney"
"Saggy Ceasin' Check-Photoshoppin' Schoemaker"
"Saggy Desistin' Gobbler-Chinned Shoemoney"
"Saggy Desistin' Gobbler-Chinned Schoemaker"
"Saggy Desistin' Check-Photoshoppin' Shoemoney"
"Saggy Desistin' Check-Photoshoppin' Schoemaker"
"Wrinkly Ceasin' Gobbler-Chinned Shoemoney"
"Wrinkly Ceasin' Gobbler-Chinned Schoemaker"

"Wrinkly Desistin' Gobbler-Chinned Schoemaker"

Mahzkrieg's Keyword Combiner

If anyone writes a sales page and sells it for $97 a pop at DP, I'd like to hear about your success. :xomunch:

If anyone has any functionality/usability suggestions... :bigear:

Nice work. I'd give you rep but it wont let me since I gave you rep on something else recently.

Thanks for the links, guys. I'm not a PHP developer so my code isn't the best-formed. I would appreciate access to your sourcecode, audax, so I can possibly start with a better algorithm before I had other features.

I took my zip download down because it broke while I'm adding new functionality tonight. I'll work more on it tomorrow. Basically I want to take all the good features from all the scripts (and programs) that are worth using and merge them. I also have a lot of ideas that I know would be really useful.

- I like audax's 'required' checkbox.
- I like the option for CSV output.
- The script should work with any delimiters, at least newline and comma.
- There should be a dropdown box where you can choose amount of columns.
- Output should always render on the same page and columns should always maintain their values with any button press.
- I like the ability to swap columns.
- Output with any delimeter.
etc.

I'd like to add these functions (and more) and re-release it.

By the way someone suggested Aaron Wall's script and the keyword tool output blows. Who wants newline output with lines break in the middle of a long tail? His tool also includes combinations that don't use keywords from all of your columns which is completely useless. For instance with keyword columns for colors, shapes, and toys, Wall's tool will output color + shape combinations without the toy which is the critical component of the tool. Then don't even think about fishing through the list to delete them.

Cheers
