BODYGUARD™ by ProTecht

Of course you won't respect yourself in the morning if you do so... :action-smiley-052:

Cant decide how bad that idea is. But you cant debate the growing number of "windup toys" being amassed with all the kids on psychotropic drugs these days.

Schools lack security and the kids are pretty much sitting ducks. But would they even have time to find and put this on in the event of a spontaneous school shooting? Maybe. Maybe not. Might it save a few lives? It might.

As too a tornado or hurricane, I cant imagine it is going to offer much protection from the weight of cinder blocks falling down on a 50lb kid.

So I guess if the school is not willing to take responsibility of securing their property might this be a help? It couldn't hurt. Either way ditch the target rich red.

The only way to not be a "terrorist" these days is if you're powerful enough to present both the problem and the solution.

Sick sad world.

You guys might really like Bulletproof Salesman on Netflix (at least I think it's still there). It's about an entrepreneur who makes money off of the war (sells bulletproof cars) and talks about ethics.

edit: and I think the slug picture is to show how far behind he (LukeP) is because literally everyone does this - goes after trending topics being supported already by the news/gov.

Ironically, that's the only way to actually be a terrorist in this world too.

Always remember; Might makes right.

If that's true, then I should be awarded golden racing stripes down the side of my shell because that product's press release went out today.

Do you think this is the only product that's been released during things like school shootings or any other tragic events? Please say yes if you do.

I just posted a movie above where the guy talks about making bulletproof cars and selling to both sides in the war - profiting off war.

Dawg...

I like the idea of having a crisis actor recruiting service and selling the duped pasties to the gov't at $10k a head :)

ITT taking it too seriously.

LukeP at it...

Stay classy, LukeP

lukep has a great point. Even if it's not the school shootings, there is so much media and government demagoguing happening that solutions to overhyped problems can be very lucrative.

Immediately after Fukushima I was making a fucking killing selling MRE's. At one point I was clearing $90+ per case. Governments aren't the only ones who can offer solutions to non-existent or government created problems.

What an unfortunate logo. I'm not sure if something more symbolic would have been better or even worse.
