CL is a pain in the ass for mass posting,, lots of traffic but if you have a zero $ budget and alots of time on your hands it could work for you..

ive done something like this a long time ago. Its more pain than its worth. I always felt weird pretending to be a chick. And the dating leads i got stopped being counted after they saw where the traffic was coming from. I was using myspace comments to drive traffic to a blogsopt blog

How did they figure out where your traffic was coming from if your links were on your blog?

I just contacted one of the AM's and he notified me that 0-200 leads are $3.00.

but this is what we can offer you per lead Jon. From 0-200 3.00, from
200-400 4.00,from 400 and up 5.00.

I was surfing craigslist and I went into the m4m section and it has easily twice as many ads as the m4w.

I am sort of trying a variation of this and the stuff on this thread.
I think it still works with a few minor twists.. still early to say, but this has potential...

One thing I did figure out about CL is that if you edit your post after 24 hours or so, they don't really check it. I did a semi-scam for an email submit - listed the offer first, and asked to be contacted via email, set up an auto responder in the email with a link to the offer.
Next day, edited the post, and just added the link to the offer, and got clicks on that for the next 5 or 6 days.

Depends on your definition of 'well'. You could easily make 100 bucks a day by putting in 2-3 hours of work, it's brainless stuff too.

is craigslist reporting affiliates for this? Just saying, that would suck to rack up 3 k and lose it.

Yes, Craigslist does report spammers to affiliates programs, and yes, we do ban the accounts.
