Yeah it was a good turnout for the first time around... and Dave & Busters kicks ass.

Yeah, I mean, I was really pleased with the turnout. It was a mixed crowd too which was great - folks from both sides of the industry. That's the best. When it's just affiliates talking to affiliates you get one side of the conversation, and same with adverts & adverts. Putting black hatters at the same table as white hatters and merchants, networks, service providers, affiliates, SM's, etc in the same place at the same time makes for some good conversation.

Definitely enjoyed Mike Stark's commentary on the evening about the transition that the big money accounts need to make. For some reason internet marketing still isn't getting it's share of the adspend, even though the numbers prove that online advertising is cost-effective.

Rumor has it there's something else planned in April. I'll dig around and see what I can come up with. Also, props to Avant & Kaveman for driving out from the SB area. Y'all are insane (in a good, affiliate way).
