Atrocities are only tolerated on a large scale. Once they become too big to do anything about as an individual apathy sets in. It's easy to completely disregard what's going on over there when you put it in the context of your day to day life. The only problem is that how its actually effecting you isn't apparent on the surface, especially when you take into account the way information is manipulated. This whole war on terror is merely a trojan horse for a paradigm shift in the structure of world power with 9/11 being the lynchpin.
