Has anyone had any success/failure with MarketHealth during the past 6-7 months? I can't find much non-advertisement info about them online, and there also isn't much talk about them here on WickedFire. They have a strange tracking system and they also don't seem to have great support...not a great sign.

Thanks!

one thing i do know about them is the offer recurring commission programs which is pretty cool.

That's always nice. Has anyone had any specific experiences with Market Health, for better or for worse? Or does anyone know how their sales/commission tracking for in-house offers work? It's a bit vague on their site--hard to tell how long it takes for them to credit you for a sale after they've "reviewed" it.

I talked with them at ASW 09.

AdHustler is right about the reoccurring commissions. Most products are paid by lead or have 50% commission rates.

I did test one of their offers (internationally) recently but conversions were awful--so, I gave up on promoting them.

I haven't done anything with them but for what it's worth I saw a lot of people using them in the hoodia niche.

I don't know how they convert but I'm pretty sure their tracking just drops a cookie on the user as soon as they enter your page which is pretty slick I think since you can just do a straight link to an offer like www.supahoodia.com and it looks more legit.

The downside to this (not 100% sure I remember correctly) the first affiliate to drop the cookie wins.

never worked with them but the prices of their products are high as fuck. nothing like $40 for a $3 action, but i guess if you have plenty of traffic it might be work testing.

Theyre good. One of networks ive used for the past 5 yrs before i got involved with PPC (started as a mailer and now also doing PPC) Ive worked with them from the start. Though in the last 3 or so months, the male and female enhancement products have tanked out. Recession! However, the diet and other still do fine.

As for payment, ALWAYS on time on each dime. They also do wires and debit cards.

They also have certain herbals like acai and colon which as an aff with them you get 50%-60%. In that token, its actually more profitable to push those than with other CPA networks (for certain products in demand). Just my 2 cents.

Yes... Please keep telling yourself that.

But seriously my P.E shit was tanking aswell, until i optimized my shit.

As a result i'm selling more not less.

Actually my experience was refering to mailings, most enhancers and related meds or herbals do real good on mailings, and i inbox 92% of the time. Anyways, im glad to hear that. I PPC some of their other stuff and still does well.

Apparently they've been around since "1998" Originally known as Joe Bucks.

I was looking at a bunch of their offers and noticed the giant toll-free numbers all over their merchant landers, which turned me off. Then I read this:

Will I get credit if a customer orders by Phone, Mail, Fax, Check?
Yes. All of our order options will follow with your affiliate code including phone orders with a reference code so you get credit for all payment options your customer decides to use.
Interesting I really wonder how that works.

I've been converting great with a couple of their offers - and I'm not just saying that 'cause the link is in my siggy. I put the link in my siggy because of the conversions. But I am #1 for a couple of very good "action" type terms for their products.

It's weird though because I sent them traffic on and off for years and they never did much, but all of a sudden it picked up. Maybe they changed something on their landing page or the Internet gods have decided to bless me.

I use them for over a year and actually see very solid conversion rates. The really nice thing is - offers do not go down as often as with other networks = less work on my side. Bowtrol colon cleansing is a very solid product that converts really well for me through MH.

I ran into a couple of Market Health guys at an incredibly lame party back at ASE08, and while I can't vouch for the network itself (never signed up), they did seem like pretty reasonable people to work with. They didn't have as much of a used car salesman vibe as most of the male affiliate managers I talked to. I got the impression that they'd be pretty responsive and easy to call up for brainstorming/issues/etc.

[Allegedly] when i was doing research i came across a fair few forums and the like and there seemed to be a lot of shaving going on with MH, [Allegedly]

I DO NOT KNOW THIS AS FACT, JUST WHAT I READ ON FORUMS.

upon doing research again i have found only positive comments now and the big bad results on google have dropped replaced with good ones, so i dare say they have lifted their game, MAYBE that's why your seeing improved conversions. [Allegedly]

I read all the same blogs you did. I'm not sure if it is shaving or scrubbing, especially with the free trial offers.

They say that the stats are in real time, but I am pretty sure I know which referal URLs mean a sale is made, AND I will see those URLs, and then the sale won't alwyas show up right away - but show up later.

Also, I'm pretty sure that they are one of those sponsors who drop their cookies so the first one gets the sale. So its kind of random sometimes. i.e. sometimes the referal URL in their stats is somebody else's campaign, though I'm sure some other people get my URLs in their stats.

I guess what that means is..... try to optimize to be first.

I am not 100% positive about anything I wrote above, but from staring at my stats until my eyes popped out, it was the only explanation I could come up with.

Well, I am revisiting this thread to say that conversions have recently gone in the toilet while I have more search engine traffic than I did a few weeks ago. I am not getting paid on the few conversions I did have.

I did try to contact an AM, but never heard back.

<sigh>

Since it is in the dumper, I was doing best with BowTrol - and now I see it on Neverblue too. Does anybody have any thoughts beyond simple random chance?

Have run offers from them off and on since they were Joebucks, many of the products are overpriced but they have a wide variety of offers. I saw better conversions sending traffic to a capture page and building small lists for some of their products...they also pay on time like clockwork...Paypal, wire, debit card.
