hey guys, so I have been promoting mate1 for past 4 days and it was going very well for first 2 days and then something went wrong. I was getting 1 in 3 conversion and my google ctr was 2-3% now my ctr is 0.91% and i have only converted 1 from 13 clicks yesterday and 0 from 8 clicks today. Now that is stuffed. So I need to know if this happens to you guys too? I reckon there are retarded newbies or just jealous AM who click on it. What should i do about it.
btw my ads are highly targeted and my QS is great for all my keywords.

You haven't really had enough clicks to make any meaningful analysis, traffic quality can vary from day to day. I would leave it a bit longer and maybe test with other ad networks such as Microsoft and Yahoo if you can.

Plus, I believe it has been stated before that new campaigns do good for a little while (day or so) before they get 'adjusted' by AdWords, so that may have been the 'honeymoon phase' you were in...

You need to get more than 30 clicks before you decide whether or not it's bad. If you get a couple hundred clicks with no conversions, you might want to start tweaking your campaign.

Mate1 has the worst conversion rate out of all of the dating offers I've tried - In fact, I pulled it & True.com from my rotation last week in favor of Match & Singlesnet.

You need to be tracking clicks and ROI by keyword.
Not by campaign.

I have campaigns where some keywords yield a zero
conversion rate after hundreds of clicks and others
have a 15% conversion rate after hundreds of clicks.

Same market. Same offer. Same landing page. Same
ad.

Of course, a 15% conversion rate means nothing if
you don't crunch the ROI.

update, so I need a bit pf tweaking. All my clicks were and are from keyword "dating". I had 6 conversions from 50 clicks in last day. So far I have broken even. I was bidding 60 cents per click. So I will make so changes and re run it again in next few days.
