I used to get daily 'updates' for new offers every day at 7am. I used the report spam button on Gmail, and I've slept much sounder since then.

They did this last year as well. I never thought of it as a big deal as I think its literally only for one month. I get more annoyed receiving emails from random affiliate networks that I never signed up with about their "daily offer updates".

Completely agree with OP. I too was thinking about starting a thread about this.

MaxBounty has been spamming me for last 1 - 2 months. It is fucking annoying. (Previously they were fine)

I started marking them as spam and now they all are going to my gmail spam folder.

Good sweet fuck.

We have a contest where we try to pick some kind of fun prize to give away to a random affiliate and we e-mail about it, thinking some of our affiliates might get a kick out of the prize we've chosen. Funny enough, most of our affiliates like it, but there's always a few people who'll bitch about anything. Just goes to show you can't make everyone happy.

Don't want the e-mails, just ask your AM to turn them off in your account.

Now go back and enjoy your penis enlargement spam. Maybe you can complain enough to the Russians and Chinese and they'll stop e-mailing you too.

Sometimes it's smarter to just eat your words Steve.

I can't stand the emails and I don't care about who in Sunrise won a pogostick or whatever it is tomorrow. I haven't complained about it, but I share these sentiments. I just spam boxed you guys since you can't figure out what a unsubscribe button is.

I'm pretty sure Canadian businesses must include an unsubscribe link under the new C-28 Bill that went into effect this year. Fines are $200 per infraction up to $10 million.

Wow, I thought this thread would have the opposite effect and maybe you would listen to what your affiliates are telling you and stop those emails, but I guess not.

Of course some people are going to tell you that they like them when you ask them as that is human nature, but a whole load of people do not like them and you are taking their eyeballs away from the offers that you want them to see as they are binning your emails.

I cannot see any serious affiliate finding any value or enjoyment in those emails, but I could be wrong. Why not poll us and then make your decisions instead of just casting this useful data aside.

I know it's not really a life or death situation for any of us, but I really thought a business owner would have taken free feedback from their customers/clients a bit better than that.

At the same time I would like to say that Maxbounty does rock (your emails suck though :) )!

Why should i have to contact my AM? There should be unsubscribe button... and thats that.

Maybe you guys should give us ideas of new niches to promote, offers that are hot, ideas for new campaigns etc, then bribing us with cheap prizes... Until then, shall mark it as spam. :)

I always thought those emails were pretty shitty and unnecessary too.

Although I'll change my mind if teguh wins a Russian mail order bride.

Basically you are comparing MaxBounty emails with enlargement spam?! ;)

P.S : MaxBounty is one of my favorite networks, but these emails suck.

Agreed, those e-mails do suck. And prizes got more ridiculous as time went by.

As far as no unsubscribe button I think some businesses think that as long as you're in some kind of a biz relationship with them or it says in their TOS that you agree to receive their e-mails - then they don't need to provide un-subscribe, etc.. Yes, it's very annoying.

I think it's a good question to Steve. Why is there no un-subscribe button?

^Agreed. Total bullshit we have to tell our AMs to stop sending that shit. Why not at least put some extra checkbox during signup that says "Don't send me top offer updates".

I don't want to isolate MaxB though, a lot of networks do this shit.
