I'm trying to get the software that MT uses for their ad utility but for the life of me I can't get it to run. Talked to the manager over there and he doesn't seem to know what the problem is...software is called Vomba.

I've tried it with both IE and Firefox and it's still not running. I never thought it would be so fucking hard to get adware on my computer before. Any ideas?

Some vag for your troubles:

Get windows 98 and just leave it online for about 20 minutes, should do the trick. And get those girls some cheeseburgers and ice cream or something.

Surely you're not installing this on your main comp?

No I have an old POS laptop that I'm using. Ads are coming in but are very slow...yesterday I was able to see some pops for ipads, but yesterday/today when I go to popular dating sites (POF, zoosk, etc) no ads are showing up (and those URL's are def being bid on). It's weird. Does MT cap the amount of popups they show to any given user in a day (I know they do it by campaign, 1/12 being the most frequent, but for completely different advertisers)? I'd figure they wouldn't in order to max their revenue...

^^^^LOL.... There are frequency caps on IPs... So if 5 people are bidding on the same KWs and they each have a 24hr cap (some may have longer caps on) then you should not see the ad again after the 5th pop for 24hrs.

Make sense?
