Merchant Account Recommendations?

Hey Guys,

We're launching a new infoproduct business in an industry that we have a lot of JV contacts in. We're expecting to do between $50K and $150K on launch. But we're in a bit of a bind on the merchant account issue, since it's a new business and we don't have a background with any merchant account company.

We're planning on opening 4 merchant accounts and rotating the revenue between the 4, hoping we don't get shut down for running to much volume on a new account.

Can anyone recommend any good merchant accounts for an infoproduct business? Just to be clear, this is *not* high risk, not rebills. Legit product, legit company, just no history.

(Not exactly affiliate marketing, but seemed more relevant here than Shooting the Shit.)

No way dude. You can't process $100K or even $25K in your first few days on a brand new account. They'll freeze you pretty quickly and hold your money for 4-12 months.

dude come on, think about what you are saying. those numbers are low/average for most, the right setup he will have no problem. also launch could mean a few weeks.

what they will probably do is call to verify several of them and do a hold. pm me I've got several contacts that will get you right through.

FYI - being that you have an informational product, it still may be considered high risk. if you are not actually shipping something it kinda/sorta enters high risk territory

i am also looking for some high risk merchant processor.. we have one of our business partner selling spy softwares.. its a high risk business and many payment processors refuse to accept the application form.. do you know some good reputable payment processors who would help him to accept credit card payments on the website..? it would be a great help for him...

um, no. Not if you are working with any real provider, this shouldn't happen. Not to mention you should be giving them this type of volume projection before the account is open.
