I've heard that many newbs think that the next step after being successful at Affiliate Marketing is that one sets up his own affiliate network, but that the real logical next step is to become a merchant. I can see that progression and am considering taking the plunge into the merchant side myself.
I understand that all business involves risk and requires capital and I'm trying to determine how much I'm willing to risk. So this leads me to ask the following question to the AM-to-Merchant converts here:
How much capital did you use to launch your first product as a merchant? Feel free to share any details of the experience...
