At the risk of being lynched I'm actually not a big pot smoker, makes me paranoid. I want them to legalize (or decriminalize) it only because I hate government interference in adult choices, victimless crime.

Say what you will, I know the truth. The more drugs they legalize, the more the mexican economy goes to shit, the cheaper it gets to hire Mexicans to build your links and do your design work.

I imagine a full legalization of all drugs would bring your employment costs down to about half of what they are.

I just want the people to make government illegal. Neither one of us are getting what we want this year.

I will say that the whole Sanjay Gupta thing has thrown a real monkeywrench into the existing power balance, where funding from the Private prison industries is well tied to the legislators that keep pot illegal.

I think ALL states would have to make it legal before the fedgov will consider it. They have to keep those prisons full!

At least we are starting to be sensible about something.

There are people such as Pat Robertson who have changed their views on the subject, but this and other yearly polls have a lot to do with older generation people passing away.

Each year a certain number of elderly people pass away, but polling wise whatever number of them get replaced by those turning 18. And each year the dynamics of every age bracket changes a bit. The 1960s hippies are moving into the over 65 bracket, for example.

He works for the existing power structure. If he spoke pro-legalization words, it was at their request.

To say it is a monkey wrench is like thinking Snowden did the same. He didn't. He is a pawn, put there so the power players can indirectly let the people know they are being watched. Surveillance without people knowing they are being watched isn't very effective since it doesn't allow for the most powerful part of it, the chilling effect.

It is like the IRS keeping the fact that they audit people hush-hush. Most of the power they have is from the fact you know it could happen, not that it happens. And with snowden, it is quite blatent they set him up. A high school drop out with an anti establishment record is promoted from security officer to system administrated and given access to just the kind of things he hates AND they 'didn't put in anti-leaking systems because of bandwidth'. Yeah... a real 'leak'.

I buy herb at a retail store in Seattle. I have a medical card but soon anyone will be able to go there....

They're even open 7 days a week and some places even DELIVER! Fuck the east coast where they'll take your car for a roach you lost under your seat.

This is where I usually go: PRODUCTS | Greenside Medical

This year the police handed out potato chips at hempfest :p

And you can grow 15 plants with a medical card and possess 1.5lbs of buds lmao I flew back east with 2oz in my carry on without any problem a month ago on vacation.

I care. It can be a real hassle to track down good weed from dealers that aren't completely sketch.

Smoking a joint on a restaurant patio on a summer morning... something I long for.

Money isn't in the dope these days...
