Yeahcpa affiliate marketing scam
For all of you that consider starting to work with Yeahcpa for sending traffic to their advertisements, I have a serious warning. Also I wished that somebody warned me for the business practices of Yeahcpa before I started with them in July 2010.
Why Yeahcpa = affiliate marketing scam
Let me tell you something about Yeahcpa before I start about the affiliate marketing scam methods of this company.
Peter Zou
Yeahcpa is owned by Peter Zou, aka Peter Green a person with the real name of Mr. Zhou.
Mr Zhou was born in China and in 2008 came to the USA as a scholarship student. After drop out of the university of Arizona he decided to try his luck in internet marketing.
In January 2010 Mr Zhou started Yeahcpa, an affiliate marketing network. Mainly reselling cpa offers from other affiliate networks and by using the techniques he learned in social media networking, Yeahcpa had some growth during the first half year.
Yeahcpa and the affiliate marketing scam methods they are using:
In July 2010 I stumbled upon Yeahcpa. I cannot remember anymore if they sent me an email or how I got in contact with them. Anyhow, as an affiliate marketer I was interested enough to try 1 offer at the time during the months August, September and October.
Small business for my company but apparently big enough for Yeahcpa, to give me the red carpet treatment.
The only remark I had during these months was that Yeahcpa did not inform me when offers were terminated. But after an email to Mr. Zhou or Peter Zou as he like to call himself, he hired a Chinese girl called Amber Wang to update customers on offers.
Since the payments during these first months were correct and the contact with Mr. Zhou went very well I decided to transfer more business to Yeahcpa in November and again in December. And this was a very stupid action!
By the end of December I already had to push for the payment of the results of the second half of November. Since I was quite sure that I was a top 5 customer for Yeahcpa in December, I feared already the worse about the payment of that month and decided to slow down in January. Apparently this was the moment Yeahcpa waited for to stop all payments… to stop all communication and after numerous emails from my side even canceled my login account in February.
How the Yeahcpa affiliate marketing scam works?
During the first months build trust and constantly asking for more business. And once you have reached a certain turn over with them, they are no longer the reliable partner but steal your money and stop answering emails.
Since this type of affiliate marketing scam that Yeahcpa is doing is the worse what can happen to you as an affiliate marketer, I thought it is my duty to warn you for Yeahcpa and Mr. Zhou aka Peter Zou aka Peter Green.
If you have any experience like this with Yeahcpa than I would urge you to use the “contact us” page on this website to sent in your story. I am happy to publish your story here on this blog.
