Method for making money on the internet

Oh, he's a lawyer and he lives like a 20 minute drive from me, lol.

I dunno if this is a patent troll or if this guy is just filing for companies and whatnot. I see he works for Proctor & Gamble, which patents the fuck out of everything... so probably the later.

Patent general methodologies.
Gain political influence, shape policy in your favor.
Exploit common law.
????
Profit.

Man, this guy has some ugly daughters. Ya know for being a lawyer working for a fortune 500 company, you'd think he would at least spot her a nose job or something.

4/10 would not bang.

Sorry guys, looks like you'll have to find something else to do

Patent US8296192 - Method for making money on the internet - Google Patents

The patent surrounds a mechanism to allow people to post "fancy comments" on a blog/news site/ect for an additional fee. Otherwise, their comment would be in a default format. And they can also bid for a desired spot their comment appears in the body of the website.

Pretty lame and I doubt many people would pay for such a service other than; trolls or people trying to sling their links in a news story. Neither of which I am sure the sites want.

Lol, this guys an idiot. Going to get raped. People like this pop up every 3-4 years and try the same ol shit.

He might get paid off from a few naive companies, shitty line of work to be in. A bit unnecessary to start posting pictures of his daughter.

Maybe he bought this book:

Drafting Patents for Litigation and Licensing is the first book to help patent practitioners draft the broadest possible patent that can sustain a validity challenge by synthesizing and applying lessons from the case law.

Going beyond the basic mechanics of patent claim drafting, this handy guidebook thoroughly and in plain language explains and emphasizes techniques that produce broader interpretations of patents, strengthen their validity, and result in stronger patents to withstand litigation.

The same people who buy crap in games I`m sure would want to feel "special" and "powerful" by having their comment appear at the top and or stand out.

People want to feel special, and they pay for it.

Look at all the games they spend $ on to entertain themselves and brag to their friends about on FaceBook & Twitter with their high scores, levels etc.

I can see the "stand out" option being a monthly subscription. If I was in a niche and wanted to build my brand I'd surely comment a lot and make it so I stood out. If done right the expense could surely pay-off in the end.

So like a "Disqus Premium" thing basically, and you could choose your own font/font color/shizz like that? Heck, I'm surprised that's not already a thing.
