Microsoft adds privacy tools to IE8

The most intriguing tool, and the one that has prompted the porn mode label, was called InPrivate Browsing by Microsoft. When enabled, IE8 will not save browsing and searching history, cookies, form data and passwords; it also will automatically clear the browser cache at the end of the session.

hmmm... how will this affect tracking and such?

Glad to hear that atleast it says "When enabled". Otherwise, this could cause some uncalled for issues for us.

Safari been did this.

Don't know about the cookies though...I'd like to know how it affects tracking...it's a feature that IS FOR porn. porn=tracking=porn.

But even if your browser clears cookies, that doesn't mean that the site server doesn't save ur ip info and history.
