Missile Fired 35 Miles Off L.A. Coast - Chinese Warning Over Dollar Devaluation?

Um, not to reign on the paranoia parade, but did any of you guys actually watch the video?

It looked small. Really small.
It looked slow. Really, really slow.
I've seen fireworks on Canada Day (our Fourth of July) that looked more threatening than that thing.

Calling it a missile would be an insult to missiles the world over. Maybe a rocket. Homemade rocket. More like a flare.

How about the entire story is government bullshit to keep the public in fear? I would think you're the kind of guy who sees that possibility. As marketers I don't see how anyone could skip over that possibility.

someone pointed out (reddit) that the time was not aligned with the time the missile was launched (those times are in GMT)

I actually ruled out an accidental launch, so either intentional or foreign. Why would the government do this intentionally? They'd look like complete incompetent fools. It would inspire anger, not fear.

And it definitely wasn't a jet. It constantly amazes me how these people who pretend to be so independent and anti-the-sheeple-mentality just gobble up whatever CNN reports. Not surprising at all that this country is in the shape its in.

Either way, if a missile is launched and our government doesn't know what it is TWELVE hours after it happened, WTF is going on?

 At this point, the military is working only with video taken from the local news camera, and NORAD and Northcom apparently were not able to detect the contrail on their own.

I remember seeing the trail while driving to school, was confused as hell cause It seemed fishy.. Pretty scary how no one seems to know what is going on. :/
