Unlikely this is U.S. military unless it was an accident. 12 hours later and STILL Pentagon or Navy have no idea what happened. This should disturb anyone that lives in that area. Sounds like they're fucking clueless.

Missing, that's where. Multiple reports now that there were NO notices posted for aviators. No way in hell our military intentionally launches a missile without posting NOTAMs for the civilian air system before it happens. This means it either wasn't ours, or wasn't intentionally launched.

Where are the people who heard the notices on VHF Marine Radios and others?

I live less than 5 miles from Eglin AFB. They run military exercises all the time out in the gulf. I boat in the gulf. There are not only NOTAMs posted all the time on their activity, but there are also notices posted for mariners when they intend to do things out in the deep blue sea. The military comes up on VHF regularly and announces their intentions - and if you get too close by accident they are rather explicit in their warnings to you as well.

I have heard these warnings and notices dozens of times.

The point is this: if this was a military exercise there would be hundreds if not thousands of mariners who would have heard about it, and it would have been pointed out by now in the media.

Ok, say you are right, China's getting pissy on the "devaluing" of the dollar. They attack Los Angeles with a missle. Then what? Earth is blown out of orbit, game over.

I was just about to say. Uh China threatening us with missiles? Even this doesn't seem plausible to me and up until now I gave your threads at least a little thought and credibility hellblazer.

The U.S. would blow everyone the fuck up in a minute and they all know this, that's why the only way we ever get attacked is by small groups of terrorists.

What? This thread is the first I heard of it. I'm not the one regurgitating what he saw on a youtube news clip. You do realize that Camp Pendleton is right fucking there, right? The fact that no alerts were issued on the base and no jets were sent out should be a huge clue to a normal person.

But you can believe whatever you want. Carry on.
 
If it was any kind of attempted attack there would already be US army, navy, air force, swat, police ... etc etc at the scene, are they showing this live on the news? No ... it's nothing important.
 
Only possibility is accidental firing or foreign "warning". China's pissed about what Obama/Bernanke did vis a vis the 600 billion dollar devaluation. They downgraded us today and then this missile appears 35 miles off the coast.

Either some idiot in a sub accidentally launched it(highly unlikely) or "someone" is sending us a clear message.

And btw, some of you guys' faith in the American government is amazing. I can't imagine what it's like to have such blind, naive trust that Uncle Sam will take care of everything.
 
This is obviously skynet. After the UFOs in china, and now the robots taking over and launching missiles, it's gonna be aliens vs robots vs humans in a battle for earth.

why would china launch an intercontinental missile to show us they can fuck us up from afar from 35 miles off of the coast of california?

If China launched a missile at the US....game over. China is not that stupid. 95% of their population is in 3 cities in China. That's 3 nukes and the country is gone.

The missile was from a USA sub 35 miles off the coast of Long Beach.

You've obviously never been on, let alone lived on a military base. If they thought that was an attack for even one second, shit would get crazy. It's your ignorance of pretty much everything that is truly amazing.
