Good hiphop or shit hiphop?
If shit hiphop you could probably get away with selling 'bling' and other stuff 15 year old white kids would buy. If its real hiphop then you probably won't have much luck, maybe ebay listings of rare tapes or something

If its in the tos and you dont give a shit about your visitors I would get one of those timed overlay pop-ups that basicly whites out the screen and slams the offer in their face.
set it to never show up if the traffic is refereed direct from the search engine (cause this may kill your SERP)s. but on the next page they click to, then slam up and don't let them go...

How you monetize really depends on the overall content of the site and what individual pages are being landed on for what keywords.
Music is one of the shittiest sites to monetize. Can be to some success don't expect like $5k or anything a month.
Here are some ideas -
Linkshare has Itunes. I know most people hate rev share but I like itunes for one reason. THEY HAVE A 120 DAY COOKIE. Also they have a shitload of banners that will work good for virtually any artist. If the CMS is wordpress and you can easily place specific banners on each post that gets hits. With something relevant.
Copeac and some others have Music Oasis Free Living Marine Screensaver
could do ok

Ringtones could do well did not for me.
