Money Buys Freedom (Bank Statement)

This is absolutely ridiculous guys... about 2-3 weeks ago I went into a CIBC bank machine here in Calgary and I found a receipt (left right on the keypad mind you!) that had a balance of 775k, which is not much compared to OP, but still... what's up with CIBC account holders? Is it like the Swiss bank of North America?

It's funny, on the fb page "he" provided proof by posting another receipt. I googled the exact amount of the deposit for giggles and found a Canadian government issued commission check for that amount to a Toronto real estate developer chick. Then later in the comments "he" says "here in the real estate development industry"

This reeks of one of those fake atm receipts.

A lot of people have that much money, but how many keep that much in a single bank account? Idiotic move, they must have inherited their wealth.

Could be his businesses operation account for all we know. I've definitely seen businesses with that much in a single account.

Real. Fake. It's solid advice so who gives a fuck?

I give good advice with a bullshit backs story all the time.

Can anyone explain why he/she says not to focus on relationships? I thought business is all about building relationships...

That's the hidden meaning of the note that you have to really act on to see, they'll go their entire life's following that advice and then one day realize not to completely buy into a guru.

Yeah but if you have say $1bn in assets, I'd assume you'd have at least $10m in any one bank account at any time, just for practical reasons.

I bet there are people with much bigger bank balances, too.

You know you're boss when you wire money out of your Cayman account.
