There has been like about one thread a week the past month or so about not having motivation to do x, y and z. I'm a big believer of working on motivation for a little while a few times a week (if not every day) as a preventative measure. For this purpose, I have this big list of motivational media that I watch, listen to or read from. I've gotten a good amount of writing leads from WF, so I'm going to share a few things from this list as sort of a way of giving back or whatever you want to call it. I'm going to include a brief explanation of a few of these clips since they're from movies people might not have seen and won't understand the context.

This is from the sixth Rocky movie when Mason Dixon (the younger guy in this scene) is a very dominant heavyweight champion, but fans/critics won't give him credit because he has never been tested the way Rocky was.

This is from the second Rocky movie. In the first movie, Rocky was an amateur who fought against Apollo Creed and took him to a decision. Apollo had never been taken to a decision before, and his pride was very much hurt, so he wanted a rematch against Rocky. This is his training trying to advise him not to.

Get into the right mindset and set a goal. Nothing beats having a goal in mind and moving towards it. Motivational materials can only help to a certain extend and the rest all depends on the individual.
