MSFT - Give me an incentive to robots.txt GOOG

Obviously this probably won't happen, but I was just thinking about how fucking awesome the chaos would be if it did.

Since Yahoo is Microsoft's bitch now it basically comes down to MSFT VS GOOG... What if Microsoft would agree to give website owners an organic and/or paid ranking boost in exchange for disallowing google access to their content.

Basically...granting exclusive content indexing rights to a search engine.

I would happily robots.txt google if there were any benefit beyond my own self satisfaction.

while it would be fun, the biggest hurdle is that the average webmaster (NOT affiliate marketer, or affiliate marketer who doesn't make any money) think Google and google apps/analytics/adwords/adsense/etc are the greatest things in the world and doesn't believe the company does anything wrong.

So you'd never get mass adoption, and without that it wouldn't put a dent in google's rankings. And the smug valley idiots who work at google know this.

I like the idea but I also like Goog products. The idea kind of reminds me of what News Corp has announced with regards to removing there listings from Goog.
