Anyone know of a way to do multivariate testing on affiliate offers when you can't get a conversion code or pixel placed on the merchant's landing page?
That would be 27 different subids all run together like the biggest A/B/etc. test ever. That would take a long, long time.
Those multivariate tools like adwords optimizer and the others use mathematical methods (guess it's calculus - 2 years of that and I don't remember a thing) to cut down on the number of tests. Since my volume and budget are relatively low, I want to squeeze as much out of these campaigns per dollar as possible.
Anyone know how to use those types of tools w/ aff marketing? What are the big dogs using?
It's pretty hard to test anything when your volume and budget are low. Why not put forth the same amount of time and effort into something that you can scale?
