Thank you springer. I had removed my adsense ads so not to get canceled by the google nazis and now trying some affiliate programs. I have never had much luck with those programs, but adsense wasn't apying alot either.

I got a few backlinks today and some blog trades with other cigar bloggers, so I am looking forward to seeing if this will work out for me.

I imagine the people who will visit your blog right now might already have favorite cigars and places to get them. Once you establish a rep though, they might begin to listen and maybe try some of your recommendations. When that happens, look to one of your affiliate programs for an exclusive deal. Along the lines of something you can promote as a special for your readers only. Some kind of deal they can't get at their local shop.

Also, check out the other thread you made, asking about aff. programs. Think accessories, too. I dropped you a link for some humidor aff. programs. I'm sure, with a little thought, you can come up with plenty more things that go with cigars.

I think you're onto something good here and are certainly taking things in the right direction. Good luck!
