My first arbitrage test

I´ve been staying away from doing arbitrage sites for some time now but I recently decided to give it a shot, so this is my first arbitrage site, so go easy on me :



I´ve left some of the adsense ads that had nothing to do with my niche so you can see what they actually look like on the site. The site is pretty loaded with the keyword so I don´t know why these ads come up.I even have an ad in german in the bottom left!

I also left a bit of the original text so you can see how it looks compared to the ads, but that didn´t come out too well on the screenshot for some reason.

I´ve been thinking about maybe adding images next to the 250x250 ad or maybe even removing that one and putting in a 180x150 with an image on top of it.
I also though about adding another image right below the "About keyword" title.

As you can see , the site is a single page website.I thought about leaving just one page to test and then if it works,just add a couple more pages.

I´m thinking about using only searchfeed for now.
I´ve uploaded only 22 keywords. I used all the keyword tools I know and only found that many. The searchfeed keyword tool reports around 400 searches last month on this keyword.All bids are
under $0.06

Any other suggestions before I make this campaign live? Template changes,anything?

It's an arbi site. i think your click through should be decent. Throw some images in by your ads - that will attract the eye. Then forget about it, watch your keyword bids and get started on the next one.

Cant really tell with all the blur...THough the format is pretty much standard the way google teachs you...Should do ok but pretty basic...add some pics also i dont think you can fit a leaderboard add so can put pics on top it...but should be able to put a picture on the right side of your ad..

Thanks thats a great tool...I gotta use this tool...before i was using frontpage trying to align the pics up with google ads in html code that sucks...Most of my pictures are all off centerd...Just added it to my favorites thanks

Did you try the 7search keyword tool? I like it more than searchfeed, it just seems nicer to browse with.
I was having a hard time coming up with keywords for my first arbi page, so I started doing some browsing on my niche and started looking for keywords that aren't as obvious and I came up with about 200 more. Kinda tackle it from another angle, you become so focused on your main keywords, so think about how someone with no knowledge would approach a search. Ask someone else how they would search. I did this with my wife (she thinks completely different from me) and was suprised with the results.

Wow,thats a nice design! And excellent ad placement.
Since I´m not much of a designer I just went to www.oswd.org and just started browsing and quickly modified one.

I totally changed the design and I´m very happy the way it came out.
I had a bit of blank space and I was thinking about running a commision junction CPA offer.Is this a good idea?
I figured that if I could get a few bucks more than what adsense pays.Anyone doing this?

It's a good idea if it has a high conversion rate. The idea behind arbitrage is that you get paid per click and you don't give a shit if that converts or not. I think you should make one page with the CPA offer and one without and set up 2 campaigns and see which one works better for you.

Jdog, good idea, also with aff offers the payout is higher so you might be willing to pay more per click, with arbi, never ever do that, set your limit and stick to it. I don't go over $.10 on arbi but will go as high as $.75 on an aff offer.

My helpwebmaster adsense site does ok.. the CTR has dropped since I last posted to about 10-15%.

The traffic is completely organic! I just checked my awstats and was shocked to see 3k unique visits last month

I dont promote the site at all.. besides on webmaster forums to show an example of adsense template... I use it to test ad unit placements etc

With some decent traffic maybe I should do something worthy with the domain? :anon.sml:
