Okay so I did my first actual podcast. More of a random monologue about a few things crossing my mind at the time. Hoping a few of you wouldn't mind checking it out and letting me know: do you like format/sound/feel of the podcast or should I quit while i'm ahead (or behind) and stick to making solely written posts? Speaking of which, posting regularly wouldn't hurt either (I know).

Link in sig.
Cheers.

Nice, I'll listen if you keep it up. I'll second that you need a decent microphone and a pop filter if you are going to do this often.

I would recommend you get yourself a better microphone.

Have the reason the audio quality sucks is because I saved it at very low quality. It's 10+ minutes and didn't want it to take up a ton of room but... yeah, I probably should have just saved it at best quality. Maybe I'll replace it with a higher quality save.

I have Cool Edit 2000 so I could use the click/pop eliminator but my mic is also pretty cruddy. Priorities, priorities!

I did a beta podcast saying, "Here is my idea for podcasts" which was pretty much incredibly lame. This is my first actual podcast with any redeeming content - and it's more of a ramble. But most of my podcasts will probably be a ramble - I'd be doing it to:
  • Add a different element/layer of entertainment/info
  • I'm too lazy to write a formal post
  • I want to just talk off the top of my head and give a more personal account of how I view things
