my hand hurts.... :::graphic pic:::

Looks nasty. Sucks, hope you heal up well.

Seriously, if there's a thread on WF that truly deserves 4 pages of posts to illustrate fail then this would be it. Don't drink and drive.

Damn dude - best of luck on the recovery.

One thing - watch the Oxycodone when you decide to stop it or are close to running out. DO NOT GO cold turkey - ask you doc about it. It's an opiod and you need to step down from it.

I didn't - withdrawal was a bitch.

Yea definitely watch withdrawals... Oxycodone is very similar to heroin

hmm i hadnt thought about withdrawal. ive never taken narcotics before. is it a certainty that ill go through withdrawal? on a different note, this fucking itching is driving me crazy

wow holy shit. probably doesn't hurt so bad because you fucked up every nerve in your hand. that looks nasty your lucky to have your fingers but after this there probably gonna be useless anyway!

good luck man

yeah, its a 10 minute walk, but i couldnt get him out of the car. he was being stubborn. hes fine injury-wise got a dwi though. i dont think he'll ever drink and drive again especially since if the car was a foot over my side of the car would have hit the pole head on

You didn't need to get him out of the car, just the keys.

damn, needing to type with one hand ... ouch. Good luck with the recovery and my hats off to you for handling it like a trooper.

that sux, I would use that hand to knock the shit out of "your bro" once you get better, I am sure he feels bad about it but deserves an ass kicking for that... good luck with the hand.

god damn it, I was eating pizza as I opened this thread. /appetite

reminds me of when I shattered my nose at a concert. Was feeling pretty good on some booze and painkillers up until that point, so when it happened, I tried to re set it myself. The look on the volunteer first aid people's faces was classic.

Then everyone wore off and I had to have it re set in a procedure a few weeks later.

Best of luck. Get out that dragon naturally speaking :)

It should have been him who lost his hand then. I hate people who drive drunk. You should have taken his keys, like JMan1234 said.
