My house is about to burn? Fuck.

is that Stephen Hawking'?

Fire is out, or whatever - hot embers and such are being sprayed. Solid response from the fire department, and there was a quick, but heavy bit of rain too.

Most of the land between houses is brush, sage, shit like that (Idaho). Fire is the only thing to worry about here, and if you get to it quickly it can be put down fairly quickly since there are few natural trees.

Thanks for all the well wishes! Gonna pull an all nighter just to be safe, wind is going good and you never know when one of those hot embers will pick up and go.

I wonder if congressman on my street improved the fire department's response? At any rate I'm really pleased with my donations, lol, upping the shit out of them come donation time this year! Might even make those fuckers a cake.

You live down by Council? That's the only one in this state I see on the NIFC report. Payette can burn hot for sure, if you want some tips (lol @ get the bushes wet, Ice) on being better prepared for the next one, hit me up.

Call dwight's cousins and have them stand in the line with their backs facing the flames. #suddenlyfireproof

1. House is on fire
2. Post on wickedfire

...........I remember several years back, we had a fire called "saw tooth complex fire"(info: Sawtooth Complex fire - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). In short, this was also caused by lightening. Having a home up in these hills, I put on one of my gas masks despite the forced evacuation, got one of my chain saws and started cutting fucking trees down. In short, the home in front, behind me, to my right burnt down. Furthermore, my dogs doghouse burned and it was 15 feet from my front door. Ash was coming down from the sky's like we were living next to Auschwitz for weeks.

In short, don't be a pussy. Man up, and start cutting shit down. And if theres nothing to cut, get a shovel and make a 100ft clear parameter around your house by digging up brush.

Otherwise keep posting and hopefully you have home insurance (I didnt at the time).

Good stuff, there is a fire near your house and your on wickedfire? Now that is what I call dedication.
