I have every pair of jeans from my local goodwill and I am gay.:D

It was more on a comment that maybe he could use more targeted affiliate offers for guys who are insecure (exteze, pumps, deodorant for the penis--it does exist, some dating offers, and what not...). I am not certain that adsense will give him the best payouts. I am just trying to think of what my teenage son would click on and buy, since I have seen him looking up sites like yours.

I second moving the adsense somewhere else.

If you are using wordpress you can use the "code tab" and put the adsese code wherever you want it. Or you can go to the theme editor and put the adsese code right into the default template.
 
If you're going to use that theme in particular, you're going to need to use some more organization in your posts to make it look more attractive. Each post just looks long and boring. Get some bolded text in there, some underlines, or something.

Secondly, format your adsense ad on the right there a bit better. Try removing the border around it, making the title of the ads pink, leave the black text (the actual content/body of the ad) in the ad as is, and try changing the link at the bottom of the ad to pink. All of this is just for testing purposes, it doesn't need to be absolutely final.

Those are just a few suggestions.

Also, I haven't run any tests but I'm not sure that the pink colored website really appeals to guys. I mean, aside from starbursts and punany, what else is there? (I mean, unless you're gay [and not you personally, but in general], pink clothing has already been played out). I don't think there are many straight guys out there with a secret fetish for pink that your website allows them to enjoy in private.

It could work, however, if you choose to author the site as a female(s). You could try promoting it as a site where girls try to teach guys what they really want to see and hear....the mistakes that guys are making...etc.

You could act as a group of girls, who happen to be friends, who decided to make a website to show 'teach' guys the right way of getting chicks. I'm making up names here, but you could have 'Jennifer', 'Amy', 'Samantha, 'Erica', and 'Jasmine' take turns (randomly) making posts for their guy readers based on their every day, social observations.

Or you could act as a bunch of completely random girls who do the same thing. The only thing that you'd need more of, in this case, is names for girls. Every day a different girl would basically just give her insight on 'why guys fail', and some advice on 'what girls really want'.

If you choose to go with any of that, try to utilize the 'Posted by..' option if possible.

Of course, if you can find girls who are willing to do this, you don't have to do this all on your own, if at all. This isn't necessarily what you HAVE to do at all, I'm just going off of what I think might work for the color scheme that you've chosen to go with. Your character needs to 'fit in' with your presentation. You can always pick a new theme and go in a completely different direction.
 
I think you need a picture or something on your posts to break them up. Right now it's just a big chunk of text that I wouldn't bother reading. And if I did read it i'd probably not come back unless the content was killer....

everystockphoto.com grab some free chick photos and throw them up.
 
Consider a static post at the top position. Maybe the Introduction post, which is at the bottom.
 
Thanks for all the helpful input. You guys rock. Up until now I've only created blogs with blogger so branching out to hosting my own blog and installing wordpress, etc, is still a learning process. If anyone knows of any good wordpress noob tutorials I would love to be pointed there. Right now when I edit the code I'm basically just guessing and hoping it has the desired effect, which I'm sure you can imagine doesn't work out too well!

Oh and in reference to the pink theme, yeah I thought it might turn some guys off. I also considered the idea of having "girls" post, but I'd still like to throw in my personal opinion occasionally which might contradict anything a girl might say. Maybe I could have guest posts by "girls" but still post as admin? And the girl at the top is a stock photo I purchased. I bought a few others of the same girl, hoping to sort of make her like the blog's mascot. I just haven't figured where to put the other pics just yet. I was thinking maybe I should save them for advertisements.

Oh and one more thing, maybe you guys have heard about this, but at istockphoto there is a promotional game, where you have to locate hidden cameras in pictures, and if you find them you can earn up to 5 free download credits. Good post on the clothes. I'd like for all pua's to shut the fuck up though or otherwise my seven for all mankind jeans won't stand out against the next guy's levis.

Seriously though my tip for wickedfire is buy some seven jeans ($225), hugo boss shirt or juicy ($110) or ed hardy. Something with a skull or cross or any other cool design .. make sure it isn't too tight or else it'll look gay. Keep it rockstar and girls will be on your dick. Field tested.

Why do girls like that shit? Cause they think you got money and style and they can tell from your jeans a lot easier then they can from your watch.

The pics will catch attention (so it really is a good idea), but to get visitors to stop staring at pretty girls with nice boobs and read content here's some suggestions:
  • use some bullets
  • lists
  • bold lettering on a few topic sentences or beginning of a paragraph
Besides eye catching, pics are good, because if the visitors are reading your blog, they don't have their own chick and will enjoy looking at them on line until they have a real girl!
 
I'm not too sure how you plan on monetizing this but you should definitely incorporate the G ads better into your posts and menu.

When you get things up and running and start gettin more traffic you could try creating a "how to talk to women guide" and make it free, and target it with some tips on how to get conversations going, body language etc, then shift the reader towards the concept of "practice" and the first place to practice could be online, then funnel them in casually about how joining random online dating sites is a good start to make conversation and if you fuck up it's not like they've met you - type mindset.

Then list a 2 to 3 sites that paywell and look promising to meet real women.

Haha well we've been together for quite a while, but don't worry I've got my eye on her.

Glad you enjoy the blog. I know it's not the most lucrative topic per se, but when you're writing your own content it's a lot easier to write about something that actually interests you, I think.

Yeah I don't know what's going on with the adsense. I moved most from the sidebar to the bottom of each post, but they only load there it seems like half the time, and a lot of times when they do they are not targeted right, or they even show up a different size than they're supposed to (and all grey).
But that's only when I'm viewing the main page. When I go to view individual blog entries, they usually show up fine, targeted right and everything.
Could this have something to do with google not wanting too many adwords on one page?

Also, I thought about promoting dating sites too, but I'd definitely have to do something along the lines of what you're talking about. Otherwise I feel like I'd be undermining the message of the rest of the blog (that anyone can go out and meet women, in real life). Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it

Well, I think I got the hang of the plugin, and everything looked fine in the options, but now all the adwords (at the bottom of each post) are showing up as rectangular plain grey boxes, like they were randomly before, but now they're doing it consistently. any idea what that's all about?
