Aliased that font man, looks good. Maybe rise up the front page on the top margin a bit looks like it is trying to be centered but way to far down. Nice job on the ads. Looks good. Give us a heads up on how this converts.

That text IS aliased... he needs it to apply anti-aliasing.

I think that may have been the look he was going for though.

Hey man, I had a site similar to this, and G emailed me and told me to take adsense down cause my site 'returned google like results'

I dont get it.. do people actually go out of their way to search with some fourth party site when they can just go to google?

No, that's the beauty of it. People don't know that it is a search engine until they are there. Actually, 85% of my visitors have come from an intense Social Networking binge, where people are grasped by natural curiosity. They type something in the box, hit search, and are curious. They trust the Google name, and voila! A click.
