I'm too busy with other projects, so I'm selling the proxy service I created last year, www.proxynexus.net. This is not a proxy site, but rather a service that provides subscribers, including some WF members, with lists of fresh anonymous proxies to use for scraping, CL posting, etc. This service made over $5500 from subscriptions last year with zero effort or marketing from me except a couple of forum posts. It's powered by a fully custom perl script and everything is completely automated and turnkey.

I'm looking for a price in the low-mid $XXXX range, the site has tremendous potential, I just have no time whatsoever to maintain it.

For more info, and to bid, please see the Flippa listing:

If everything is completely automated how do you not have time to run it anymore?

Just a question not trying to knock your sale. If its making you money why not keep it?

Well, obviously I would sell it for a revenue multiple, so it's making low-mid $XXX a month and I would get $XXXX for it right now.
I don't have time to deal with issues like support, presale questions, marketing, keeping the server running, etc. The usual headaches of running any web service.

I've been all over the place with some projects lately, trying to consolidate and focus on my core competencies(affiliate stuff).

but its making you over 5500 a year, and you say yourself you havnt marketed it. Pre-sale questions can all be compiled into a faq, on the site. Support - really? lol

good luck anyway, but if your figures are real surely it's worth more than that.

Non-solicited endorsement

I know MC from around, I remember when he launched this service and, although I've not seen proof, I do know many members who have used his service in the past/present (including myself). I have no reason to doubt the income this service has generated and, aside from server costs, I'm sure there's not much overhead.

For you guys saying shit about him keeping it if it's stable income ... you've obviously never juggled a dozen products/services at one time that have been successful. Even a few questions per week is enough to make you roll your eyes.

Sometimes it's better to just release the smaller fish back into the wild and make a few bucks in the process.

Good luck on the sale boss.

In full agreement with you here, was just asking questions.
Best of luck with the sale.
