I've been tweaking my arbipage for months and just can't get above a 11% ctr. I'd really appreciate some insight. As you can tell i'm no designer or coder. What's a good ctr to shoot for?

Try using a 250x250 block in the same position you have, but float it with CSS so that it is wrapped around by text. Also, get rid of the bright yellow and go with the default color scheme (no border).

My 2 cents

If it doesn't convert will, scrap it and move on. There is no point in spending several months on one arbi page. Some niche's convert better than others. Try out some new stuff, you may find a niche that has higher CTR and higher payouts.

I don't use a banner graphic, just black and white text. Been meaning to try it though. Keep testing different formats. I'm getting about 25% - 30% CTR on average. I hear about some people getting 40% - 60%.

Also, JamesH is right. You gotta keep trying different niches. If it's been months and you haven't tried 10 or 20 or more, then that is part of your problem.

Can any of you guys advise. I have been using articles on most expensive keywords. But per click cost I get is around as low as $0.07. Can you tell me what could be the reason. The ads are not really revelant to the article though the article professionally written and having good keyword density.

They'll probably show ads related to your domain name/sub folder which may or may not be relevant. Make it relevant. Refresh a bunch of times, it can sometimes take some time before real ads start showing.
